No I mean at third party resale platforms. Through the federation you have to pay for a membership that was ridiculously priced and included the "right to buy" but not actual tickets.

 

Yeah although the Argentina friendly in Miami for this Friday is not selling well maybe the Messi mania is dying down but I doubt the same will continue for WC

 

That game is not geared towards the 30k+ argentinans travelling from argentina or the 10k+ argentininas travelling from Spain that will surely do it for the WC

 

Yeah but those games have historically sold well. They did the same thing in 2022 playing vs Honduras in Miami and vs Jamaica at Red Bull arena and both sold out with prices being $200+

70% Category 1, 98% Category 1 and 2? And no Category 4? Oh man. I wonder how RTB people feel about that. It looks like RTB really isn’t giving you anything above what you could get at some point without it.

Seeing how I struck out in the first ticket round, I am happy I splurged for RTBs for USA 2nd match. It allowed us to get settled and book our house for our trip over a year in advance. Also, do people not realize how big these stadiums are? Cat 3 is going to be awful seats.

 

Not knowing the prices, could not people see Messi for less money in an MLS game? Also, maybe people remember the sh*t show that was the Copa America final and are avoiding a possible repeat. Though the issue was Colombian fans, not Venezuela or Argentina fans.

 

OK, but I am pretty sure that you will be able to get tickets in later phases via the usual methods, probably at lower prices. I do agree on Category 3, and Category 4 tickets. FIFA putting them exclusively in the very top ends of these giant stadiums made them practically worthless this time.

 

Not everywhere. Most last row seats in Los Angeles are cat 2.

starting to see some cat 2 group games listed for face value on the resale portal (plus the 15% fees to buyer and seller each)

Ticket price was much cheaper at Qatar. Cat 3: $70 and Cat 1: $210 for all group stage matches.

 

Between slot 2 and 3, no ticket restock... On the contrary, some tickets have increased in price... The shop is almost empty in category 3 and category 4... No more spots for the final, semi-finals, and quarter-finals.

Nothing for Mexico, cheapest ticket for a Mexican venue is $595 USD.

I don't want to visit America - pricing for Canadian games looks better though...
