I don’t know, I never sold tickets on Stubhub. Maybe someone here has and can let us know. A buddy did buy tickets from one of the resellers, not sure if it was Stubhub, to a game in Qatar. He bought the tickets as we were near the stadium and it looked like he just clicked some link and loaded his tickets onto the app. I can’t really remember but they worked just like my tickets from FIFA. Maybe the seller just turns over the login and password and Stubhub just changes the password and creates a link. FIFA would never know who is using the tickets. I would also kind of like to know how they do it, but I do know that it worked flawlessly. I also like the idea of screwing FIFA out of their extra 30% profit on their own resale platform. To hell with them and their greed.
Anyone have any idea why the FIFA resale portal only ever says 1 ticket available for available matches? Am I doing something wrong? There are often times multiple tickets per category available but each over is always 1. Very odd.
because it sucks. simply awful job by whoever is in charge (FIFA web designers, secutix samrtasses etc.)
dallas is roughly 80k and if you take a look to seating chart no temporary seats will be installed (they had those for the superbowl)
I found a funny picture from Qatar 2022. I bought a ticket for a friend to watch USA vs England. His cat 1 seat was in the very last row, and there was even a guy cleaning next to him. At least those tickets will be cat 3 or 4 this time.
don't expect too much and most important, do not believe fifa their bullshit. they will screw you up before you realize it
I have still barely seen any mention of successful purchases, and I've seen a lot, coming from anywhere else but USA, Canada or Mexico. Is there anyone else out there?
For the Euros last year, I bought tickets on 3rd party and it was extremely easy, You just gave the 3rd party your email address for your UEFA Tickets app, and the seller would transfer through email. Usually got the tickets a minute or less after payment. But then major difference, UEFA did not have a resale portal.
Interesting. Thanks. It seems like it worked the same way in 2022, and FIFA did have a resale portal then of course. It would be cool if the resellers undercut FIFA now that FIFA is encroaching on their scalping business.
Instead of these cat 3 group / r32 games, for $650 I will fly down to Rio de Janeiro, for another $650 I will get a place at Ipanema or Copa Cabana for a week or two and drink caiparinhas on the beach between watching games at my favorite boteco and scarfing down bowls of acai. Sigh... Miss Brazil 2014.
in the past FIFA resale was simple FV resale and money came back to the card used for purchase this time it is shameless black market and I have no clue how it is going to work
Yes. Lots of winners outside North America, however ... I have been attending World Cups since Brazil 2014, and FIFA have always biased the winners in the region around the host nation. In Qatar there were lots of Pakistani, Indian, Saudi and Egyptian winners.
yeah seems a bit shady, people buying tickets at FV and getting silly amounts refunded back after selling on resale
While I have been sitting here green with envy watching so many posts about bought tickets from all sites I have seen surprisingly few bought for New York. Has anyone bought any on here for there?
I put mine on just to see the process, etc. The wild part is if/when it gets sold, the seller doesn't get the money until 15 days AFTER the world cup. Resell today, get paid in August 2026. To your question. Yes it goes back on the card that is on your account. I assume. And not sure about identity check.
They truly have no shame! Scott Friedman, founder of the Ticket Talk Network in the USA said. "For Fifa, it's supply and demand - they are trying to maximise their revenue." Yes but the are administrators of the game for the good of the game and the fans not their own highly driven private company out for the biggest profits. Always said Infartino would be even worse than Blatter, No wonder a certain other high profile person loves him so much.
it is not just supply and demand, this time fifa decided to go for maximum profit at any cost. they will go as far as necessary to get the last cent out of everyone's pockets they were always greedy, but this is completely different universe, unseen until now!
I bought M77 cat 1x 4 for my aunt. Also tried to buy M91 cat 1x 4 but was sold out by the time I was in the portal . For me personally tickets are expensive so did not buy for myself. Cat 3’s if it was available I would have bought , She only wanted cat 1’s
