Going to North America '26: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

Just checked my emails: I also got 3rd slot on one of my accounts. So, we are around 9 ppl now for 3rd slot on Bigsoccer. 1st slot - 3-4 people, 2nd - 5-7. Now - 9. However, I don't expect to buy anything for these prices, I'll wait for later phases and price drops or category/seats shifts, which is obvious IMHO.

 

Can you try picking up match 1 and 28 for me please. I need 2 tickets each match.

 

you need to add "N/A" under the credit card columns as despite the fact that FIFA said the card had to have that security system, the app I had access to got a slot on Friday using a Visa gift card from CVS. It has no name, no address, nothing like that associated with it. If fact, it only had $250 loaded on it, enough to buy like 1 CAT3 ticket for an obscure KC Group stage match! It was a longshot account but it hit. 40 high demand tickets on that account right now. Makes me think the actual CC info doesn't mean anything, but maybe adding duplicate CC numbers will flag applications. I don't know, just another data point.

These cards are what you buy to give gifts to people or use in raffles and stuff like that.

 

just want to add that card was not used to pay for purchases as those exceeded what was loaded on the Visa gift card by about $25K

 

What did you put for name and address ? Different email address used as well ?

 

I sort of agree with the sentiment, but you have a strange definition of the word "force". And regardless of the price, outrageous or reasonable, the odds against any individual fan getting a ticket to the final are astronomical.

 

Should we use a credit card under our own name, the same one we used for the draw?

 

Can we take at the time a vst and a tst ?

 

Different name, different address, birthday, everything. It was the last app put in on a whim because i thought the gift card would be rejected. I googled and it did not have the required security.

 

Not sure how you interpret this, but I think buying a TST nullifies you from buying any other group stage matches? And a VST has Group stage matches.

Yes it will be another sales phase, the early draw. It should be the exact same as this time around, except without the Visa card requirement. Could be Visa/MC, or perhaps but unlikley, no card.

 

Ok thanks, i was selected but i messed up, since i had to work i was waiting and stupid me had to open up tunein to listen to sports radio.. i guess when i put phone in my pocket i closed the window… so i had to start over… when i got in late .. i could not buy colombia tickets… just bought local ones.. in miami

 

Mmm but if you choose VST then you know the games dates.It should not be an issue to add other group games or even TST, if games are not played on the same dates with the VST games

That is the whole reason TST purchases exclude you from buying any other tickets - the fixtures won't be confirmed until the draw in two months time.

Is there a reason why when I look at the resale platform any match I look at, in any particular category of ticket, I can only see one ticket for sale if any? No match seems to have 2 or more tickets for sale in any particular category.

 

This is probably wrong of me to say this but I got ESPECIALLY pissed off when in the mexican whatsapp groups people with a +1 area phone code resold tickets for mexico games in Russia and Qatar at 3-4x FV

 

So far, since it opened up to now, there has been a limit of one ticket per cart. My guess is their logic tells them this is more "Fair" for everyon to cart a ticket. So if you want 2 tickets, you go back and cart another one.

Here is the caveat though: If you cart the next one, and for some reason its not the one you wanted, and price jumped a ton, then you have to dump both. It groups all tickets that are same Match and Category in a cart. So lets say you carted one at $500 but the next one was $1500, you would have to dump both and attempt to find the good deal again. Your best bet may be to complete purchase in those cases.

how much were semis reselling for in previous WC's? the atlanta CAT 3's got a little cheaper so i've been contemplating a bit more about them i could get them quickly and not worry about having to try and get them later

 

But someone can buy vst LA and 1st group game in guadalajara, there is no conflicts in date
