That is the RTB email. Do you mean the email you get if you have been awarded a slot during the phase 1 lottery?
Everyone. To check if you got access, log into your fifa ticketing account and it will show the green button with your time at the bottom. If you dont see it, you didnt get an email, and you haven't got access yet. https://fifa-fwc26-us.tickets.fifa.com/
Considering time slot for tomorrow seems to last longer and they added much much more winners, do you think they will restock more C3 / C4 and team series tomorrow or its done regarding tickets? No more restocks for visa presale? What do you guys think?
I doubt there are any more Cat 4s to sell by the look of the stadia plans. I personally think they will have planned to ticket phase to last all the way to Oct 24th so will be adding all the time till then in Drip drip.
Questions for those that have gone in the portal: * How early should I get in the queue? Does it matter? * Is it possible to have many tabs open? * Chrome v Edge v Firefox?? * Any tips and tricks to cart? Any info is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
As someone who lives in one of the host cities (Seattle), I have to say that it's quite annoying that people living in/near the host cities are not getting any sort of priority. In all likelihood, a significant portion of the tickets for the USMNT match here in Seattle are going to end up being bought (and then resold for a huge profit) by people who are not USMNT supporters and have no intent of coming to Seattle to attend the match. Meanwhile, many locals who DO want to attend the match (like me) are getting shut out.
Nothing is fair and certainly letting people buy 40 tickets is quite definitely not fair. It used to be 28 and I thought that was too much when you bear in mind the demand. But FIFA don't give a toss so there it is.
March ish... When the last minute phase starts you usually know what seat you are purchasing. The rule of thumb in the past was the earlier you bought your tickets, the worst your seat is.
As others have said, in the past, it has always been that the first lottery phase and other early phases were the worst seats within each category. We have bought Cat 3 tickets in FCFS that were better than Cat 1 tickets purchased early on. In fact, we upgraded some that way in Qatar, buying FCFS Cat 3 when you can see the seat assignments and dumping Cat 1 tickets purchased earlier. A lot of people were upset about their seat assignments for tickets purchased early last time. Those Cat 1 sponsor and federation return tickets and converted hospitality tickets are the best. I will be looking for those in about May.
I understand your position but a couple things. Why should you get priority.. how would u determine "close to stadium". Tacoma... Yakima, Spokane.. or only near Pioneer Sq.. what about suburbs. You cant just arbitrarily say "locals". I also find problem with your sentiment that people buying tix and going to the US game in Seattle "aren't USMNT supporters". A bit self riteous. Why so dismissive of others, why are you more deserving? I'd gladly put my US support resume over the fact that you randomly live in the same city as the game. You have the exact same chance and opportunity to buy tix as the rest of us, as it should be.
I was referring to people from other countries, not people from other parts of the United States. There's something very wrong when somebody in Poland (for example) gets a chance to buy tickets for the USMNT matches before someone in the United States does.
I get your point but how could that even be enforced? People would just put in fake local addresses. A bigger problem is the 40 ticket limit. A high limit made sense last time when all the games were basically in one city. This time, while there are some people who will go to 10 games and use all 40 tickets, most people aren’t traveling all over North America and are buying for resale. I really hope the resale market collapses and they get screwed.
That is a good point, but it has been a problem for a while now. The atmosphere at World Cup games, especially the later knockout stages, is often pretty sterile because fans of the teams can’t really travel and get tickets in large numbers. It will be a big issue this time, especially for the European teams. It is better for World Cups in Europe, where travel distances are less for many countries. But FIFA doesn’t seem to care about the atmosphere at games as evidenced by them making the entire lower bowl Cat 1 and raising prices so much this time.
I understand that people have asked this question several times for different teams, but does anybody know if Egypt TSTs were available and how much were they ?
First, they're not getting a chance over someone in the US. They're getting the same chance through the lottery, but... ...There's something REALLY wrong when a tout in Poland (for example, I hav nothing against Poland) buys 40 tickets on each of his 10 winning accounts (out of 1000 he created with a bot) for the sole purpose of reselling them at $2K... or $20K later. Anyone, and I mean anyone, reselling tickets right now on the FIFA portal (and other 3rd-party portals) should be banned for life... and I don't mean banned from stadiums because they couldn't give a s..t.
Me reading this as a Polish tout who's selling his $60 cat 4 tickets for $1k on the resale portal... jk!
Still better for Italy to be at the World Cup, albeit in Pot 4 though might not matter this time especially if they end up in Group B or D (no offense to Canada & the USA, statistics speak for themselves). Only Mexico has a slim chance against European teams. Quick reminder of USA, Mexico, Canada results against European teams in the World Cup since 2002: USA - 1 Win (vs Portugal 2002) - 6 Ties - 6 Losses Mexico - 4 Wins (2 vs 10-men Croatia in 02 & 14, vs disastrous France in 10, vs disastrous Germany in 18) - 2 Ties - 3 Losses Canada - 2 Losses TOTAL: 5 W - 8 T - 11 L
So should we just not have ticket sales for any match until we know who is in it and then only sell tickets to residents of those countries? I like it that tickets are available to everybody equally.
Hi all, When purchasing VSP - venue specific tickets, I'm assuming you have to pick ticket category and same category will be applied to all the games for this package? Also, based on what I see on FIFA site.. VSP package only includes one ticket??? They don't allow 2, 3 or 4 tickets? That sounds terrible as I don't wana go alone.
Imagine your country reaching the final and then you are forced to pay 10x your average countr salary becase people from other rich countries (USA included) want to post on instagram a picture of Messi, without even understanding the rules of the game. Welcome to my world, my friend
