Seeing as I’m not expecting to get a time slot, I’m more interested to see what people are trying to flog their spares for in the resale portal when it opens on the 2nd. That’s assuming that some of those with a lucky early slot will maximise their buying opportunity, credit card limits allowing. Obviously, if everyone uses their 40 ticket limit, it’s the first 25000 slots and you’re done with only 1m tickets on offer, although I think that’s unlikely. I’d have been only buying the 8 (2 x 4 games) max, had I had the opportunity for instance.
Most likely first slot will be the same time like it was on opening of lottery, meaning we will start seeing winners from 17:00 CET.
I preferred the time when they actually allocated tickets for the winners. It makes it more interesting.
I've started a face value exchange only WhatsApp group for BigSoccer members. DM me if interested with confirmation you will also do FV exchanges only.
The big issue will be "what is face value?" Very few people will actually be able to purchase at the list price. Is 'face value' the price you pay on the resale platform too?
@Krish Patel: Not intending to be rude but 1) nobody except FIFA knows. 2) @marko mirkovic posted a pretty reasonable assumption just a couple posts ago. (Please people show some sort of "effort" when coming here; checking the last couple of posts is not that hard to do.) #rantoff
Only FIFA knows. Maybe not even today. But I hope our tech geniuses will see something useful in advance in that DevTools-Network section before we'll be notified in the official way.
Face value is what it costs when it first goes on sale. Let’s just say the cheapest tickets are $60. That would be face value. But here in the USA you can resell tickets for whatever you want, so resale sites might have them for significantly more.
I’m hoping for at least a few in NJ. After that wherever. I can fly and I have relatives across the country I can sty with in certain places.
