Isn't it sad when Taricco and maybe Doherty are coming in to help our defense??? Weren't we all complaining about how much Taricco sucks all year? Funny how things work out. This would be a huge win to get that London derby monkey off our back 0-5 this season. Maybe Charlton will still be realing from the Parker ordeal. Go Spurs

For anyone that wants the club's internet radio link, this should be it:

    rtsp://play.rp.spurs.servecast.net/broadcast/*/encoder/sky/spurs_match_new.rm

    Oh it's working!

Not for sure if this is good news or not but Mali just lost to Morocco so Kanoute should be on his way home soon. Will be great to see a big guy working with either Keane or Defoe. Still want to find a way to get all three of those guys on the pitch at the same time without killing what is already a horrible defense lately. Anyway, glad Kanoute had a good run and didn't get hurt.

Goal by Davies after 10 minutes defense still sounds a little shakey. Doherty is holding them together ok though

    2-0

Jermaine "the new Lineker" Defoe scores again, 7 million well spent :D

A couple of great saves by Keller, the Ginger Pele has been strong at the back, and finally Pleat has played Simon Davies on the right of midfield. First game in ages on his proper side and he responds by scoring the first and setting up Defoe's goal.

Brown and King have done a lot of good stuff in midfield it seems.

Let's hope they can keep a clean sheet, or at the very least get the 3 points this time with a lot less nerve jangling.

Defoe is really making a case for a three man front when Kanoute comes back because he is a goal scoring machine Thank god for Keller who has made two great saves. Doherty sounds pretty solid in the back but Charlton did have a goal disallowed for offsides right at the end of the half which it sounded like they were making a good push for a goal to keep things close.

46mins: GOAL. Keane lost Perry in box after receiving throw from Davies, found King who drilled into corner. 3-0.

50mins: GOAL. Keller appeared impeded from corner, clearance charged down, Stuart lashed home from 15 yards. 3-1.

    4-2 to us at Fulltime.

Fantastic result in the end and nice to score more goals, especially away from home. Very pleasing goalscorers as well, Defoe again and Jacko wrapping it up with a long range left-foot cracker right when it looked like we were in trouble.

Bad thing of course was conceding two goals and making it tense for a while, yet again. I've yet to see it but apparently there was a blatant foul on Keller by a Charlton player for their first. Second seems to have been more about a great ball in from Di Canio with a fluke goal by our reject Perry.

Brilliant going forward, like swiss cheese at the back, that's our Spurs :D

Great to see a quality win Big improvement over Portsmouth. Backline sounded ok and if that first goal shouldn't have counted then maybe they did even better than I thought. 7 mil doesn't seem like enough now for Defoe as he scores again and Jackson's goal was at the perfect time. Leicester City up next and after that we have a long run against some very high quality sides. That is when we will see just how good our squad really is. Middlesbourgh away, Newcastle at home and ManU away are the real tests of the season and if we can get 5 points from those three games we did brilliant if you ask me.

Either you've been shacked up with Lauren9 for days and have just come out of her bedroom ( ;) ), or you have been living under a rock. Dan boy, we won 4-2.
