Did anybody else see that goal on espn's top plays. It was from about 45 yards out, dipping and curving the whole time. Anybody know what game that was in and/or where to find footage of it?

It was from the Fulham - Aston Villa match from the weekend. It was scored by a player for Fulham. You could try the skysports.com video lounge for footage.

Saw it. It should be on the Premier League highlights show on FSW tonight, for those who get the network.

Personally, I would've picked Givens' save of Titus Bramble's near-own goal as a top play myself. I'm looking forward to seeing that one again.

The Fulham goal was by John Harley, a defender. I love the description he made of it after the game, which is honest and brutally accurate, I'm sure. To paraphrase, he basically says, I just saw it, hit it and everything worked out better than I'd have imagined.

The Given save was almost certainly the single greatest save I've ever actually seen. They should just remove the voting for that EPL "10 seasons" contest in that category and admit there's now something better.

That was fantastic. Of course, a friend of mine --who's liked Bramble since Titus was a young lad at Ipswich-- claims that Bramble skillfully deflected the ball off two of his studs so that it would hit Given in the head and deflect over the bar, and that the goalkeeper didn't know very much about it.

Missed the Harley goal. Does anybody have a video of it?
