I know this is a bit late, but I just got around to watching the goals from last week on mlsnet. On the winning goal does the announcer say "Gavin Glinton has uncorked a goal from the heavens...GG my boy!" Maybe I heard it wrong, but if not thats the stupidest call I've ever heard. It doesn't even make sense.
As opposed to Rob Stone blowing his usual BS? Give me Max Bretos everyday. Goals should be exciting, and Bretos gets excited. They have a huge significance in the match, it's not like a lay-up or RBI in baseball.
