What is everyone's thought on this goal?

Very similar to a goal Bergkamp scored for the Gunners once but I like this one better. The pass Michele Fini made to Andrea Lazzari was great too.

I thought Henry scored that one.

Magical goal there, but I still say the goal of the season is Grafite v.s Bayern, where Wolfsburg hammered them 5-1.

That goal is cool, but I still think I like Bergkamps better.

    Essiens volley vs. Barca
Ronaldo's 40 yard stunner vs. Porto...
    Nilmar vs. Corithinas last week

Still thinking of more candidates for goal of the season.

It's a very good goal, not as good as Bergkamp's though, his had a great deal more skill involved. The Lazzari one is quite similar to one Jo scored against Bolton this year.

All the other goals mentioned in this thread far out strip both of these though. That gioal by Grafite is too much. Too absolutely ruin their defence and slot it home like that takes the piss! :)

This is the best goal of the season by some distance for me. Possibly the best of the last 5 years. You can never get tired of it. A work of art that belongs in the Louvre.

I think it has to be Grafite's or Gourcuff's

    Gourcuff's is redonkulous.

    Grafite's is special as well.

Ronaldo's 40yarder was something else as well.

for me, it is hard to seperate them. I give the edge to Gourcuff though.

I realize Ronaldo's goal hasn't been posted, so here it is along with another 40 yarder.

Gourcuff, hands down. One of my favourite players to watch.

Probably the Grafite goal vs Bayern, though there are loads of others I could think of which were just as good.

Dont know how I forgot about this goal right here. Truly impressive. Bicycle kick of all bicycle kicks for me.

Wasn't it just a half-bicycle though? I don't think it deserves mention in this thread, even though it was a very important goal.

I totally disagree. I think its one of the goals of the season.

It might not have been a full on bike, but it certainly was a very good one, that required very good technique to pull off.

I agree. If anything it was harder than a proper bicycle kick. Not only would he have been ridiculously off balance after taking the touch, but he also aimed it in the bottom corner. It was less 'hit and hope' than other bicycle kicks.

First one posted was amazing, Gourcuffs is just ridiculous though. Very Zidane esque with that footwork.

The thing that impresses me the most about Adebayor's half bike is that I think he meant to chest the ball over the other shoulder and failed, but then just hit it anyway. If indeed that is what happened then its even more impressive.
