This post in unnecessary and just an idea.....
I was thinking it would be cool if there was some sort of "special" thing that occured after DC United scored a goal. For example, at UMD football games they have a "cannon" that goes off. DC United also had a "cannon" at Opening Day last year which I thought was good. Another idea I had (I dont think it exists) is a confetti machine. Since no one is going to be on the upper deck they could put those up there. Once again before you say this is the stupidest post, its just an idea of how to make the atmosphere at RFK better.

I would love to have a confetti cannon in La Norte. That would so rock the party that rocks the body.

Alright, we aren't the ESC. We can get our women without paying them.

A confetti cannon gives me disturbing mental images of Rip Taylor.

I really dig the smoke and confetti ideas, but for security reasons I doubt we'll see either approved. Good ideas though!

Can you bring these ideas up at the Security meeting? Would we have to pay for it or DC would pay?

LA has been using a confetti cannon for a few years now. I noticed it when I went to games.

Maybe we can think of something that would be unique to DCU, instead of copying Chicago and LA (gag!). (Off topic - check out the LA boards, they are arguing over what brand of burritos to have in the new stadium. No kidding. :p )

What about lobbing water balloons at opposing players? No real harm in that.

when our turn comes, we've gotta get california tortilla... none of that chipotle-mcdonalds mass-produced axis stuff.

For once, I agree with dcajedi.

As a bonus, we can throw hot sauce on Ruiz...

Uh-oh. Does this mean that I have to leave now? :)

Yeah, but which one? There are like 300 or something...

Or should we use Gator sauce? How about their Queso? That stuff leaves a pretty good mark, although with yellow jerseys it might not make that much of a difference.

No, it means you can stay. :)

Their house brand. It's the biggest bottle and therefore hits the hardest. The Gator sauce is in a squeezable plastic bottle, so it wouldn't hurt as much.

I'd like to see the team celebrating with the "circle thing" again.
