Gm #27: Chicago v Columbus - 22 September, 3 PM CDT [R] This is it. Do or die. Win to be in. Our greatest enemy at this stage is ourselves. Our confidence must be higher, and players must leave it all on the field. Prove your worth to us. Prove your right to be in the postseason. Do it. We'll be behind you, as always. But the time has come to produce, no matter what. If you need more motivation? Some of you players are fighting for your jobs. Got your attention? Love for club. Love for the game. Love for success. WIN.
KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL and everyone better be loud as hell come game time. Loud and proud.
I'll be there on Sunday, but..........do you realize that the Fire could be out of the playoffs before the game even starts?
No they can't because ny plays ne only one can get 3 points or both get one, so it is impossible for the Fire to be out of the playoffs before the game sunday.
This is the last game of the league season so we will know exactly what the playoff situation is by gametime, what we need, who we will play, etc. I think its even possible somehow, that we could get a draw and still make the playoffs, but obviosuly that is not the best way to think about it. This should be a great match to be at, and really, there are no excuses for section 8 not to be in full voice.
tommorrow, be there. You know, if the MetroStars and Revs tie, Columbus will already have won the division, and hence the #2 seed, before kickoff. In that case, the Crew might want to rest some better players. I'm not saying the Fire can't beat a team with Buddle, Cunningham, McBride and Perez, but it might be more fair if they play without their stars, too.
So I thought but there was no indication of it at all. Imagine I was sitting on the net for an hour trying to figure this one out. I am not kidding (but I am stupid). And for all that I have that World Cup T-shirt for you at the next game. Jeff did not want it.
Word is all $15 tickets are sold out and the game may be sold out completely by Sunday so better be quick!!!
Hey, I just realized that this may very well be our last game of the season. Who would have thought that??!! Now, losing the chances to play for the Open Cup and in the Champions Cup seems really regretable. I really wish we played a few more games this year. Namely at least two more at the Cardinal Stadium after Sunday's match and one more at the new CMGI Field in New England on 10/20.
I bought 40 tickets for a group outing. The group apparently isn't going. Therefore I have plenty of tickets for Section 9. They are $12/each. If anyone wants some, let me know.
NOTHING IS OVER UNTIL WE DECIDE IT IS!!!!!!!! Win on Saturday, and then a FORTNIGHT OF GLORY in the postseason!! Read it here first: Chicago 2002 MLS Champions!!!!!! Believe it.
