Gavin Glinton looks like he has been released by the Burn (traded from LA). I remember him last season as being a good left sided player, with good poise. Could maybe be a real nice option for us on the wing. Picking up a player like Glinto puts us a little closer. Is my impression of him wrong?

I say pick him up..he's got speed and this league is getting faster by the minute... We definitely don't have a winger that will burn anyone in our roster..not saying he'll start for us but he should be better than the arg. scrub. But bob usually looks for a guy with ball skill first and he didn't have it from the games i watched.

Remember that this is MLS. Just because we "waived" him doesn't mean that we give up his rights in this league. He can go to any other league free as a bird, but if anyone in this league wants to sign him, they will have to trade with us for his rights. It's just like he is still on our roster.

Thank you, I am a complete jacknut, and figured that we got compensation for Paule and Williams last year because the Fire and Crew do not value their own players/draft picks and would rather piss them in our direction. Lead on McDuff.

it would depend on what we lose in compensation (low draft pick?)...but he has shown well at times, and i'm pretty sure his salary is low, so i think bringing a guy like that in comes at a very low risk...then again, we know Bob loves his draft picks, so i would be surprised to see him let go of one..
