🚨| Bale confirms he couldn’t be part of the Real Madrid La Liga celebrations due to a bad back spasm. #rmalive— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) April 30, 2022
He's confusing controversy with contributions at this point, he's literally using these digs at the club to stay relevant.
Let's be honest. He's a passenger with Wales as well. If you break down his performances with the national team, he's a mid table tier level player at this point.
CAMPEONES 🏆💪🏼 So disappointed that I’m not able to be part of the celebrations this evening due to a bad back spasm but really proud of the team for winning the title! Enjoy tonight boys! #HalaMadrid pic.twitter.com/RbXttKwHSE— Gareth Bale (@GarethBale11) April 30, 2022
Agreed. He took his petulance to a new level and instead of apologizing or trying to become part of the squad again - he decided to further isolate himself away from the club as a whole as if we were the enemy. He has no one to blame but himself.

Bale's main problem is that it seems he has not yet realized he is made of glass. He will be either injured or in recovery until he gets injured again. Not even Florentino insists on playing him. He lost his galactico status a long time ago. Even Tottemham is too much for him.
I always said he had the personality of a lame kid, he never truly developed a respectful personality, always giggling around and stuff. From getting bullied as a kid to superstar athlete.
Has Bale even learned to converse comfortably in Spanish? I could understand him hating the club, but being distant from you teammates is unforgivable. Especially with great guys around like Luka, Marcelo and Karim.
Who cares anymore bro. Just another few weeks and then 1 or 2 shitty interviews by him about us and we’ll be done with it.
This club shoved Sergio the Legend Ramos out when he pretended to be greater than the shirt he wears and never looked back. No matter what Bale says or does, the truth is playing for this team is the biggest thing he's ever achieved.
You just know he is going to live off the drama that happened between management and himself. Leaks, books, teammates..
As we've seen yesterday though, the one thing that is a constant at this club, is that everybody is replaceable. He can have a cry about it, but most people are looking at guys like Alaba, Benzema, the teenage players and ask themselves, who wouldn't take animal tranquilizers to be part of that group? Bale is cheating himself out of some irreplaceable experiences.
Walker must have taken a full bottle load to play for City. Bale can't even be there from a little back spasm
And what he doesn't seem to fully realize (assuming he cares of course), is that when you have mentally checked out for years, you will never be able to fully regain any type of form. Even if you go to play at your favourite team on earth (where everyone worships you). Deep inside, you simply fall out of love with playing the game to a certain level. But anyway, like others said, we are almost done with this guy.
Really unfortunate that this is how it ends for a dude who should be a club legend given his contributions. He of course bears a lot (but not all) of the responsibility for that.
His injuries destroyed his career and his mentality sucks. He is not to blame for the injuries but he could have acted better. The crowd is reactive, it's not like they want to hate on someone out of nothing.
Bale had to drag the club into his antics for some time now to stay relevant, beating up on Faroe Islands just isn't a big deal. I guess he could get into a fight but short of that, thankfully we'll be hearing a lot less about this player.
Apparently Barnett offered Bale to Atleti but they respectfully declined. Makes sense since he and his family like Madrid. They should contact Rayo next imo
