He took his petulance to a new level and instead of apologizing or trying to become part of the squad again - he decided to further isolate himself away from the club as a whole as if we were the enemy. He has no one to blame but himself.

Bale's main problem is that it seems he has not yet realized he is made of glass. He will be either injured or in recovery until he gets injured again.

I always said he had the personality of a lame kid, he never truly developed a respectful personality, always giggling around and stuff. From getting bullied as a kid to superstar athlete.

And what he doesn't seem to fully realize (assuming he cares of course), is that when you have mentally checked out for years, you will never be able to fully regain any type of form. Even if you go to play at your favourite team on earth (where everyone worships you). Deep inside, you simply fall out of love with playing the game to a certain level.

Really unfortunate that this is how it ends for a dude who should be a club legend given his contributions. He of course bears a lot (but not all) of the responsibility for that.

 

His injuries destroyed his career and his mentality sucks. He is not to blame for the injuries but he could have acted better. The crowd is reactive, it's not like they want to hate on someone out of nothing.
