So Bale did leave early. Clear as day that is him in the car.

 

All I can see is that Bale is not in the photo and video footage of him leaving in his Audi away from the stadium.

 

I’m really not sure why people still care about this, Gareth is Gareth, most have made up their minds about him one way or the other already, surprised this is still a topic

Let me be the first (or second?) to express this hot take:

Integrating Bale into the squad is not a bad gamble. Certainly not at the cost of someone like Vinicius who is paying his dues and twice over, but this man literally signed up for the kind of responsibility this team needs right now.

He's way past due. I'm not buying that he isn't trying, I just think he's washed. Not fast enough, uncertain, lacking confidence. But the Bernabeu, allegedly, isn't even booing him anymore and if Zidane is still trying to make something happen with Bale then I'm going to assume there's still something there.

Within reason, of course, but I'm not complaining if Zidane continues to try with Bale during this last stretch. Within reason.

It does not matter if he is in the photo or he stays in the stadium. Bale has not tried to be a part of the team. He has gone out of the stadium early too many times. We all knew all about his golf comments. Even if he is in the photo, celebrating liked he has won the Champions' League, it is too late. He overstay his welcome long time ago.
