The issue crazed is that until 2010 more or less, both Republicans and Democrats cared about rules and traditions; after that, the GOP learned that they could disregard them and that Democrats would be constrained by them, because Ds cared about democracy, while Republicans became an authoritarian party.

The present dilemma is that the GQP will not cede power when they lose, and Democrats still fail to realize how bad the situation is; and if donkeys return to power (extremely unlikely since pedos are rigging the system even more), they’ll probably try to achieve some sort of consensus while failing to fix the system that allowed the GOP to gain almost absolute power.
