Yeah I worry about decisions being made to benefit $ folks. One approach you don't see mentioned much is opening up, with some exceptions, but restrict travel between political divisions. In some cases that would be by county, in other cases Metro Areas or subdivisions of Metro areas (think Staten Island/Manhattan island....) The "cordon sanitaire" approach, I believe, is somewhat entertained in Israel where lock up was followed by "leave the house but go no farther than 500 M from home." The idea is to give the virus a "dead end" and deny it an escape route via the friendly skies of United.
Haaland on Renya, he’s "the American dream," "He's 17-and-a-half soon, so in such a young age to be so calm on the ball and play for such a big team, it's very fascinating to see how calm he is and he doesn't care about anything, he just jumps right into it," Haaland said of the United States youth international.
And they will whisper things Secrets from their American dreams Reyna needs some protection Cuz he's a kid like everyone else So let him go He don't wanna be your Gi-o He don't wanna be a big man he just wanna play like everyone else
Seems you can't pin much on the Roosevelt as the situation is fluider and fluider... https://www.stripes.com/news/navy/n...irus-probe-is-launched-into-outbreak-1.628019
Funny how our two most geriatric posters, who have not had unpaid sexual contact with a fertile woman in decades; are the most off topic about Corona Virus in the Gio thread. Certainly this is the most exciting thing to happen to them for years.
We have laws in place that regulate stupid behavior. Drinking and driving being one. Make it against the law for people over 18 to take the mask off in public. Make the penalty stiff enough and there won't be that many people breaking it. There will always be those that do, but since we don't shut down the roads because some people drink and drive (which is probably much more dangerous than Covid-19 for most people), we probably shouldn't shut down the world because some people go out without a mask. If nothing else, you must agree that we need to start playing soccer again so that we have something else to argue about on BigSoccer.
Sure. And if the world wide demo were sailors, that might give us more solace... Meanwhile in the real world, we'll hit 75k US fatalities by next Friday. What's interesting (but not surprising) is the major Covid clusters are places like Navy ships, meat packing plants, nursing homes, prison... places where you can't distance. Be interesting to get aggressive testing, tracing, treating in the hotspots at least... see how it goes from there. Football stadiums will probably be an interesting thing to watch as well, if fans are allowed to return.
As a navy vet I can tell you that it's not the healthiest of groups. Certainly nowhere near as healthy as professional soccer players. The point of all my arguing in this thread is that it is perfectly safe for professional soccer to resume. But we should probably hold off on the nursing home Olympics for a while.
Does this help? Erling Haaland has high praise for Borussia Dortmund teammate and #USMNT prospect Giovanni Reyna after his immediate impact at the club. https://t.co/5lSFnnVX6w— SBI Soccer (@SBISoccer) April 30, 2020 edit: sorry @truefan420 - missed your earlier post
You need to stop spreading this new aged plague of puns. You can have it, then be cured of it and get it again. It’s really dangerous.
Probably not, but my drinking last Saturday began at about 12:30 PM in a used car dealership lot, located in in Vallejo, California. I was at least 15 drinks in by the time I made that post.
"But I only made the old man whore joke cause I'm a public, binge drinking alcoholic" is kinda par for this place.
