Ok, sorry, I will refrain from it now. I made a causal joke earlier in the thread that riled up people (when it really shouldn’t have). I’ll quit now, and focus on current results/play
Nope, me especially. In one of my last posts i specifically mentioned that he is young and we all make mistakes, but I guess you skipped it. Out of curiosity, what do you feel we should discuss on soccer forums? Sunshine and rainbows?
I have decided to hate Beerholder and all the Reynas, (even Angel and Reyna-ldo) equally, in the hopes this sacrifice will bring peace to our forum.
Yes, also buttercups and moonbeams. Seriously though, if we could just recognize that we all have our opinions and inferences about this two-sided story, and not let it permeate this thread, I (for one) would appreciate it.
Save it…you’re entitled to drag him and root for him. Own his shirt and tell people you love him and insinuate he’s always been an asshole. At the end of the day if you’re posting shit about people that you’ve “heard” from people you’re a hater on some level in my book. No matter how many times you jump up and down about being a fan. and I’ve heard first hand accounts from national team duty since he was 17….
Maybe this message board just isn’t the place for you, Maya. Overreact much? You seem way too emotionally invested in this all.
whats your point? that he isnt really a goal scorer? hes been an injurd teen midfielder his entire BVB career.... also has some amaing plays in cups and CL as well.... and seems to be getting better too
its misleading...I think you presenting it as objective to discredit the player. Gio has 750 total minutes this season for BVB - 5 goals, 2 assists.....thats almost a goal/assist every 90 minutes between bundesliga and champions league....and he isnt even a forward. His production/minute is off-the charts good....but the way you presnt it makes it seem he is rather pedestrian. which I dislike.
[ Perhaps, but Wiki also clearly points out that he is considered one of the best young players in the world.
They are good, we have a handful of good players below those two (Adams, Weah, Jedi, Musah, Richards, Wes in the right conditions), but they're not going to be in top clubs, except to really flop (Puli didn't, he can be useful as a rotation guy). Reyna has the tools though. He could be a contender. But, of course, there are many other factors beyond individual technique: a tactical brain ("soccer IQ"), mentality, discipline, consistency, availability. We'll see. [Konrad and Dest are two guys with great individual technique who are failing at the other aspects, for example.]
