I tend to agree. Haaland will play as a CF with Reus getting pushed into a second-striker or wide role.
I mean, the plan isn't him to be the backup *forever*. (I guess they can play both Reus and Haaland the way Arsenal plays both Lacazette and PEA, but I feel like the backup situation for that kind of attack is not ideal. Either way, Haaland's entry creates competition for Reyna (and Weigl), albeit indirectly).
Yeah... this addition just pushes him further down the line. He would be better off going out on loan. The fact that he made the bench for a game makes it more difficult to stomach... I thought we might see him early this year but now it looks far more likely that he will play the season out w/ the youth team... which is seriously unfortunate... because not sure he has a lot left to prove there.
I think we can assume that he will be with the senior squad in January. That wouldn't be news -- the news would be if he's not.
Just chill brother. It is a long ride. It isn't worth putting too much hope in youth players until they show they can actually play. For every 1 Christian Pulisic there are 10 or more Gabe Ferraris.
You don't need to be jaded to not be a panicky bitch. You just need to be knowledeable and realistic.
There were a bunch of other crazy fees for his agent and his dad but I think the total was more like 40 million.
10????? Not jaded enough! 1pulisic /xplayers *25 years! Plus injuries/work permits etc.... They are all the walking dead until proven otherwise
