Not bloody likely. He'll be out 2 weeks at a minimum. He won't be able to train normally this week, which means he's out this week, and will likely be limited in training next week and face a "fitness test" at the end of the week to see if he can go for the next game. I bet we see him in three weeks.

I wouldn't completely rule him out but it certainly seems doubtful we would see him this week. He obviously showed a lot in practice since returning from COVID or else he wouldn't have been given the nod to start over Sancho and Hazard. But Hazard has really come on of late and Sancho is Sancho. He looks to have come back a bit chunky, so perhaps that was why he was on the bench. Kind of funny... and painful that Gio gets his 1st start and then gets injured in warmups. Typical USMNT. At any rate, he is so far ahead of the curve. Just going to stay patient and expect good things moving forward. Most likely we will see him in 3 weeks as you said... but one can always hope for sooner.

Sorry, we are talking about Bradley, not Claudio Reyna correct? Yes, that was Costa Rica. That was an uuuuuugly picture if I recall correctly.

Correct. See just above. That was during warm-ups.

In the thread of the actual Captain America's son?

Geez the ruthless Bradley's first cover-up knows no bounds. As if ESPN commentators being afraid, wasent enough.

Michael Bradley has never played any other position outside of being one of the middle positions, ever for the USMNT.

Even Claudio Reyna played RB during a WC R16 game.

Au contraire. As you must be aware, "... a fallen souffle is still a delicious souffle. Remember, even the most perfect souffle must be deflated to be eaten."

I think he can rise to the occasion, so long as his ego is not too inflated.

Freddy was the OG American Souffle. I would rather see Reyna grow into the US Coq au Vin or something along those lines. If Julia Child was still with us, she could advise.

For what it is worth, a Bundesliga Expert on Sirius said he expects Gio to be back on the squad this weekend. Such a bummer that he tweaked something right before his 1st start. But you have to feel good that he was even on the precipice of starting given his age and the talent on that team.

is he still able to break some youth records for Dortmund like with regard to appearances by age 18 or goals by 18?

Does not matter. Youssoufa Moukoko will obliterate any temporary record Gio may set. I'd just be concerned with him integrating into the side and actually being a benefit to the squad each time he's on the pitch. He appears headed in that direction.

Back in training the Tuesday after a Saturday injury. Are we thinking he's available this weekend? I'm thinking one of the first subs in the second half
