Someone removed Gio from the wiki entry. There been 8 edits today already, but just b/c its on wiki doesnt make it a source. I'll wait for other sites to pick up on it.

Anyways, the sun article says he's a winger. I hope they play him as a winger.

This is great new's if it's true,I like all those comment's from fan's in thesun's link...

It's true tho the fan's at barca treated him like shit and his biggest supporter there was fired and I havent heard or read anything good coming from the new coach so say if he was to stay I doubt he'll play as much as last season..Now imma have to become a Spur's fan,Ive already been a Arsenal fan since birth(When Vela signed!) Cant wait til the English season start's up!!

It is official. Don't know why some people still doubt that.

Gio said it himself during yesterdays transmission of the Mexico game.

    best of luck to Gio.

They say it was closer to 5 million pounds, which is ridiculous being that JOzy Altidore is worth the same.

I also think the tables will be turned now.. This time, it is Vela the one that needs to work harder for a starting position.. At Tottenham Gio will be a starter for sure...

    Pasion,

Are you gonna be a Spurs and Arsenal fan?

Thats the equivalent of being an America and Chivas fan

I see the 12 million pounds figure quoted lots of places, and that would be about 2X what Altidore went for.

It doesn't matter, Im glad he's gone from Barca. At least he left those ingrates with a bang in his last game.

Someone asked me that just yesterday.. And i told them it will be like when Depor faces Barca, Osasuna, or Atletico de Madrid... I am always rooting for the Mexicans..But...

I think I will be more of an Arsenal fan.. since they had faith in Vela since he was a kid, and knew how to take care of him.. make him a better player. the made sure he went to a team where he had playing time.. (heard that Celta de Vigo:D?)
