According to this Gio rejected offers from minnows galaxy and rubin kazan from the russian league. Also reiterates that Valencia 4 mil euro offer was rejected and why Mallorca can't/won't take less than 8 mil euros. Spuds take 50% and banks take another 25%

 

The court handling their re-organization proceedings probably wont like Mallorca sitting on such a valuable asset, and high maintance cost, at the end of the summer. All Gio has to do is pick a team, and wait until the last minute when Mallorca will just have to concede. I think the Gio saga will last all summer long...

Everyone's favorite Guille Franco talking up Gio to Villarreal. Looks like this is becoming more and more likely. I am cautiously optimistic about doing well in La Liga, although obviously I'd rather see him at Valencia/Sociedad/Atlético.

Apparently Villarreal have a ton of money to spend on players, might not be such a bad move after all.

 

three seasons ago Sociedad was playing in Liga Adelante, now they are going to play in the CL, you never know.

Nah he plays wherever in Mallorca. Sometimes he was even the main striker, but he does like to drift to the right.

 

I asked a Villarreal fan and he said Gio would play on the left

 

would suck for Aquino if Gio got signed to take his spot

but Gio on the left would be awesome to see. he's already done it quite a few times with the NT, especially under Vasco.
