Mallorca vs athletico madrid in 40 mins. in possibly Gio's last game with Mallorca. I hope he puts in a good performance today as A.Madrid is one of the teams supposedly interested in him. They will need help in attack with Falcao leaving. A goal will be ideal and a great confidence boost ahead of this important stretch of games for Mex coming up.

 

Not getting injured is most important.

 

Of course, i said ideal not most importantly. I dont even want to be that possibility out there.

As of now, Deportivo and Zaragoza are losing. If Mallorca somehow wins then they are out of the relegation zone.

edit: Actually they would be tied in points with Deportivo.

 

0-0 half... Zaragoza is loosing to Betis 2-0...any points from this game would be a success for Mallorca....Zaragoza have to play Atl Madrid next week aswell.

Kinda off topic but Pabon loaned to Betis that is joining Monterrey this summer is on 14 games 7 goals...he will do very well in liga mx imo.

Damn Mallorca actually have a somewhat decent chance of staying up then. All the relegation bound teams are facing some tough opposition.

They have a ok chance to stay up if they get the 3 points vs Valladolid.
Zaragoza need to draw or loose vs Atletico...Celta have to draw or loose vs Espanyol.
And Deportivo have to loose vs Sociedad.....if any of those 3 teams win they are done.

 

Gio most definitely should stay for the last game. Guardado too.

 

I just remember that Gio won't be playing the last game, so Mallorca are as good as relegated.
