Which clubs have been linked with GDS for a transfer? I assume he won't stay with Mallorca in the segunda division.

That makes sense. Betis is probably going to sell Benat and Malaga is going to sell Isco. Both guys play the same position as GDS. Jozy Altidore is linked with Betis as well...could see a Mexican-American link up for Betis.

 

Betis, Malaga, Espanyol. Imma go out in a limb and say he goes to Villarreal if/when they get promoted.

 

Altidore will get exposed without Maher feeding him assists.

he has the potential, also the Eredivisie is weaker defensively than La Liga, it would be like Villarreal, he is better in Eredivisie or for a middle table Bundesliga team

 

I think Maher is one of the best (under the table) young talents in the world. I saw a lot of footage on him, he is real good.

But if you took Gio at 19 and Maher right now (19), Gio was a better prospect than him by good margin.

It is too bad that Gio went through shittiey club situations which stunted his true potential.

Right now, Maher may have more potential than Gio but Gio still can be a really really good player if he get the hell out of Mallorca.

 

Maybe Aguirre will try to get Gio and/or JDS

I think only Malaga would be able to go for both. I've heard 4 million for JDS but no idea what Gio would go for.

Remember when Depor went down? Everyone was claiming Guardado would jump ship, clauses in is contract which allowed him that etc. He stayed.

A player like Gio is to special to be in 2nd.
