On Uefa.com, they just released one guys version of the best XI this year in Europe. http://www.uefa.com/magazine/News/Kind=2/newsId=47210.html Christian Gimenez was selected over Henry, Van Niserory(sp?) and lots of others. Not too bad for a Swiss team. I know this is just one guys view, but it is nice to see Swiss soccer teams/players getting a little more respect. I would love it if next year both Basel and Grasshoppers made some noise in the CL. Plus whomever gets the other UEFA spot to play really well. I guess that would be a great christmas present.
