i know there must be other people on here besides me who loves gilmore girls or anyother weeknight WB shows.....
I like the show. It's a very cute show. It's also nice to have a show where the mother and daughter get a long for the most part.
I hadn't watched a single episode until this week, mostly because nothing else on TV interested me. It's well written, well acted for the most part. I like the way the humor is delivered and that it doesn't seem to fall into the week after week of "in this very special episode of... " trap that many teen shows fall into. I liked Lauren Graham (the mother) from her roles in News Radio and Seinfeld. That said, it probably won't hold my interest for an entire season.
That's what I like about the show. If I need a Lauren Graham fix I can just watch 5 minutes of one of the numerous reruns that is always on and I'm set.
I watch it occasionally with my wife and enjoy it then. One of the things she likes about it is the daughter's intelligence, which isn't normally a big part of teenage characters (she watches a lot of kiddie soaps and the only reason I can figure is she's a HS teacher). As I mentioned in another thread about this show, I think the mom is really attractive.
I watch it with my fiancee, the thing that appeals to me the most (besides looking at Lorelai) is the humor in it. I will also make it known that I have NO intentions of watching the spin off about Jess, I hated that character.
