From E! Online: "Just this past Tuesday (as in two days ago), I heard from a CW insider that the network was still planning to go ahead with a 13-episode eighth season, and that Lauren and Alexis seemed to be on board...but sadly, something somewhere stalled..." "I think most GG fans agree the show was never quite the same after the departure of creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, but that didn't stop Gilmore's fans from being some of the most dedicated in television show, as evidenced by their victory in this year's Save One Show campaign. "Stars Hollow has been a TV home away from home for nearly seven years, and I, for one, am going to miss it terribly...Sigh. Anyway, let the wailing and rending of garments begin. HUG."
One thing that stands out; Graham was loyal to Bledel to the absolute end. It was widely known in the TV industry that they either come back together for an 8th season or not at all. Kind of like 'you jump, I jump, Jack' from Titanic. They've earned the rest. And let's hope they have good careers in TV or film. Isn't Bledel signed on to Sin City 2? Graham has Evan Almighty coming out in a month or so; I heard somewhere that was the most expensive film ever made.
IMHO, the show is still good enough to have another full season. Granted its been on the decline but even on the decline its better than a lot of other crap on network tv. If 7th heaven could get renewed for another season after last year, then so could Gilmore Girls, but oh well. No doubt on Lauren Graham, lights up my day just thinking about Bad Santa. Alexis Bledel aint bad too. What a threesome that would be!
Oh my god you guys actually watch this garbage? This show is so pathetic, that girl is so ugly with her big ass forhead. And her hoe ass mom, my god act and dress your age. Sooo boring shoot yourselves.
great job newbie. you found a thread that didnt interest u and decided to contribute your drivel to it, now go shoot yourself.
The finale wasn't bad. I apologize for my earlier confusion. Lack of sleep from tending to a new baby will do that to you. Gotta find a new source for the hot mom/daughter tag team fix.
I'm getting my back waxed today by my wife's friend who looks EXACTLY like the daughter from GG. Try and take THAT image to bed with you tonight.
Yeah, it flippin sucked... it hurt quite a bit, I bled a little, and almost 24 hours later I still feel like I've got a sunburn. NOT fun, regardless of the skill level and attractiveness of the practitioner. Apparently next time I get it done it will be a lot easier because the hair hasn't been there, getting rooted in for 30 years.
Bah, I've already been married to the perfect woman for 12 years. I de-hair my back on my own because I sweat a lot during my athletic endeavors (soccer, hockey, biking), and not having that back hair helps me not be insulated, and makes shirts infinitely more comfortable.
My wife can't fall asleep without the TV on, and it is hard for me to fall asleep when the TV is on. I will miss the Gilmore Girls, as it was one of the few shows we could keep on the DVR that would put me to sleep in less than 15 minutes.
