He could be on the move to the MLS on loan. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-duo-set-for-moves-to-usa
Off to New England? https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-new-england-interested-in-signing-qpr-duo
There is an unknown trialist in camp with the Revolution and some are speculating this is he: I'm almost positive the trialist is 6'2" young American CB Giles Phillips from QPR, who the #NERevs have been reported to want on loan. pic.twitter.com/YV9YTAYSHB— DITF (@DeepInTheFort) February 3, 2019 ETA: Some level of confirmation: CONFIRMED: QPR defender Giles Phillips is in Marbella, Spain. He’s the likely #45 spotted in the most recent #NERevs highlight reel #NERevsInSpain pic.twitter.com/5SmFqpYWkP— NERevs Rumors (@NERevsRumor) February 3, 2019
In case you needed further proof that Giles Phillips is the #NERevs' mystery trialist, here's a screengrab from today's game. Looks like him to me. pic.twitter.com/HXhKaksCCM— Seth (@SethMan31) February 7, 2019
Phillips is back with the U23s, starting today: https://www.qpr.co.uk/fixtures/under-23/2018/sheffield-united-u23s-v-qpr-u23s/
On the bench📝 Team news is in.➡️ Cameron➡️ Wells⬅️ Lynch⬅️ Cousins#QPR make 2️⃣ changes.#DERQPR pic.twitter.com/Gvt99YBPj9— QPR FC (@QPR) April 22, 2019 He is on the bench with 3 other youngsters and I think that there is a good chance he debuts before the end of the season as long as Rotherham doesn't win today. He will likely be the 3rd or 4th CB at the club next year because QPR have two CBs leaving on frees and they probably can't resign both of them and there are major FFP problems so signing a replacement will be difficult.
I think that it just didn't work out for him because he probably wasn't good enough, but I never really saw anything about what happened to him from any sources. In my opinion he is probably a League Two caliber player, but due to injury woes and the fact there is little left to play for this season he is being given a bigger opportunity. Next season he will be either loaned and given an opportunity with the first team the next year or he will come straight into the first team because QPR has 2 out of contract CBs and I saw a report we are going to need to half our wage bill so realistically only one, potentially neither, will resign. This puts him into a prime position to be the number 3 or 4 CB in that will be a team likely fighting relegation.
Seems to be on trial with Wycombe Wanderers in League One: Exciting stuff. I have a name for number 19 from this evening. Need to do a little bit of research first. From a club Gareth knows very well... 👀 #Chairboys— The Wycombe Way (@theWycombeWay) July 16, 2019 I believe that number 19 (goalscorer of the second goal) is American QPR defender Giles Phillips.I reckon it's a similar case to Charlie Fox last summer, a trial with a view to a potential loan move. #Chairboys https://t.co/FXFB1uy8nC— The Wycombe Way (@theWycombeWay) July 16, 2019

He went on to have one hell of a solo career. For the rest of the band, sadly perhaps, it never really quite happened, though they've done some reunion stuff together.
