Good stuff. If it happens hope JOB and Gibbs will be healthy at the same time to be able to play on the field together...

it's nice that all our players talk to each other like this. That's commendable os the USSF to do their best to create a true team, rather than a collection of stars

Is there any kind of timeline to JOB's return?

Sure, but it's measured in eons. (I just wanted to be first!)

Also, if he is signing there, I would suggest that six months is the limit, unless there's a drop clause, and some dramamine invovled.

I agree, it seems the trend in recent years is teams are taking more than one American abroad:

    Hannover: Cherundolo, Mathis
    Fulham: McBride, Boca
    Reading: Marcus, Convey
    ADO: O'Brien, Gibbs

    To a lesser extent:
    Blackburn: Friedel, JJ
Man U: All the Americans that are currently or have been on their books.

I could also name the time Lewis and Hahnemann were at Fulham together but they didn't get much PT.

ADO might not be a bad place to play for the time being. When healthy, I'm sure Gibbs would fit right into their backline and be an upgrade over what they have. ADO, if I'm not mistaken, has been fairly active in the transfer window and is desperately trying to add to its roster to stay up. Gibbs is an important peice to our success this summer and the faster he can find a club and be heathly the better it will be for the Nats. I will say since his contract was voided he can sign after the window closes but he still doesn't have time to waste.

ADO's backline has been bad, and that's good news for Cory. He needs to get on the field and it sounds like this is a perfect match.

I'm not sure I'd say bad. They only gave up 5 to NEC last week and only 3 to a ten man AZ the week before. (and to be fair, the first AZ goal at 4 minutes was when they were full strength ...) They have the 3 worst goal against (40) in the league, but have a game in hand - with PSV up - but it would take a 6 goal schellacking to catch willy II.

Off topic, but is Wilhelm II the football club named after that wilhelm II?

That Kaiser Willi "retired" in the Low Countries. But Willem II was a different, Dutch, king (1840-49).

Also, off-topic, but just so I'm clear...

Den Haag is The Hague, right?

A struggling team, won't have to adjust too much...this should lead to plenty o' PT for Corey. I think it would be a good move.

Arsenal also had Simek and Karby together at one time.
