Gibbs went full 90 in a 1-2 road loss that clinched Cologne's promotion to Bundesliga. St Pauli is 4 pts (plus goals) down in the relegation zone with 4 games left to be played; Braunschweig is one point ahead of them (they also need to really up one point more to compensate the goals)

Gibbs has been doing quite well over the second half of the season. He has steadily been ranked at 3 to 3.5 on the Kicker scale. For what it's worth, that is on par with the Bayern defenders and better than Cherundolo (granted, it's not against the same competition). Nevertheless, he has been quite solid and consistent. I hope he gets a bit more USMNT exposure with being plagued by injuries.

When Cherundolo was in the Bundesliga 2, his ratings wre close to 3.0 as I recall. So either Dolo got worse or it is harder to get high ratings in the Bundesliga.

I can't wait until Mike Duhaney gets a look, too. He does play for a better team, after all...

Certainly latter option. Tougher opponents, higher expectations, relegation fight instead of dancing on top throughout the whole season, more cameras and public pressure, etc...
