Those are the worst uniforms I've seen from Venice. they are usually really nice. Do like Cynar as the sponsor though.
Seems as though many teams will be playing in long pants this season. And I think the away Jersey is very flattering ... Where the spirit of the ‘90s meets tomorrow, inspired by the textures and palette of Venetian Renaissance.
Hmmm. he feels like a Venetian. that is interesting. To be fair to him, one of the great things about being a professional athelete is that it gives you opportunities to live well in some extremely cool places. Every time I'm in Venice, I think about it, I mean, 30 year window before it's unliveable, but me too, so what's the big deal. It really is beautiful and it's an extremely cool lifestyle, with a bit of cash. If he is loving the life he is living, why TF not just embrace it. Football is great, and playing it is great, but it's never all of life. if the rest of his life is exactly what he wants, why move. Now, i get that this means he is likely out of a national team picture. I'm not sure most players, and even most top players, see this as a primary reason for making a life decision. I mean, a shit-cake with great icing is far less desireable than a perfect cake with no icing.
and juve keep extending him to spread out the amortization period of his contract. Kick that can down the road, baby!
Busio starts in friendly vs Lille. Oliver Giroud scores for Lille so far. https://www.flashscoreusa.com/game/soccer/8QyOuNE5/#/game-summary/lineups

Full time and Venezia open the season with a 2-1 win. Four shots, two chances created, seven passes into the final third for Busio. Looking every bit the promotion contender.
Busio subbed on in the 67th minute of a 1-1 friendly draw with Rapid Vienna, who are undefeated and top the table in Austria.
to each his own. i, for one, am disappointed in stories like this. whomever is advising him to stay in venezia, hopefully isnt doing so with his footballing interests at heart. if he has any ambitions as a player beyond "feeling venetian" he shouldve left like tessman did.
Tessmann was basically among the candidates for midfielder of the year in Serie B when he left. Busio was a level below that - not a huge level, but below.
I'm sure that breaks Busio's heart. I assume you allow random strangers to dictate your career progression?
Venezia lost at home 1-2 against Cesena today. Busio scored on a PK, which he put past Klinsi Jr. https://www.veneziafc.it/en/news/the-post-match-of-venezia-fc-cesena-fc
