They’ve been better than I thought they’d be but…it’s looking as if they could very well be headed for relegation still. Going to need to win 3 more matches to assure safety. Could come down to the final day as they play Cagliari in Venice.

Showing some solid defense in this one. And some impressive defensive headers, especially for a smaller guy.

    Not playing today v Sassuolo.

"Busio, Cuisance miss out with late injuries. Vacca, Kiyine, Fiordilino ready in midfield."

They are on 22 points with two teams above them on 26 and 25 respectively with two games in hand. Its far from over. They also play both of those teams before the end of the season. They also play the current 13th, 14th and 15th team.

If they can hold on for a draw here that would be great, but jeez they’re completely bunkered.

More importantly, their next 4 games are against teams they have a better chance at winning against. It’s against the teams currently ranked 13-16. If they can win 2/4, particularly the 15th and 16th ranked teams and tie 1-2 of the others they have a good chance at staying up.

Could come down to their last game of the season against Cagliari.

Busio played well. Was one of the better players on the pitch for large stretches.

IIRC Venezia's game in hand is from a game cancelled against the last place team Salernitana... so there's still plenty of opportunities to pick up points but they are going to need to turn on that "relegation battler end of season good run of form" soon.

Busio came off the bench in the 55th minute with Venezia down 2-0. Venezia lost by the same scoreline, and they're starting to slip into serious danger of relegation.

I'll note that Busio has started all 5 Venezia wins in league play this season and 5 out of 7 draws.

I have Venezia at 0-1-4 in his sub appearances and 0-1-3 in his DNPs.

So that would put them at 5-5-10 in his 20 starts.

If they get relegated, which seems likely now

Does Busio stay in Serie B?

I'd imagine No but has he done enough to get decent interest from other Serie A sides? This I wonder.

    League only, I think it's 8 (if I read Transfermarkt right). So 5 W, 5D, 8L? Doesn't sound that
Thus, 0-2-7 in the ones he didn't start. Hope they stay up. But if not, it ain't Busio's fault.
