Getting some positive reviews on the Italian press:

    https://www.eurosport.it/calcio/ser...le-rabiot-aramu-domina_sto8668261/story.shtml

Gianluca BUSIO 6.5 - Often active, always looking for the ball to distribute in the game. As a result, he offered plays with substance. Noteworthy.

    https://www.corriere.it/sport/calci...op-fe1c8682-5ab1-11ec-b112-80e2686a5381.shtml

7 Busio Recovers and shows some precious football: at 19 he is confirmed as one of the most interesting players.

    https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/ser...o-e-ovunque-romero-compie-un-miracolo-1620454

Busio 7 - Zanetti's Everywhere-Man. His contribution in both phases is impressive. He presses everything and everyone, managing to be a protagonist even in the opposing area.

Busio 6.5: He could seem slow, but in reality he's always moving, ready to free itself to receive the ball. Player of great prospects.

In today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport:

Busio: 7 - A quiet start for the little American-made jewel, who was swallowed up by the Bianconeri midfield. But then he turned out to be decisive in both creating play as well as defending. A guarantee.

I agree with all of the above and have never seen such high evaluation for Big Mac. Gianluca is a player. He plays with good purpose. Honestly, I think he would improve Juve.

There is the seed of a good player in this kid. He has excellent awareness and a Weston-like fighting spirit. He may not be technically gifted like Puli or Reyna, but I like what I see.

At 19 he keeps looking up while keeping the ball. That's a very good sign.

Such an intelligent player. I wish some of it could rub off on Tessman.

Busio lacks the athleticism of Big Mac but makes up for it with intelligence and technical ability. Maybe one day we'll get a guy with both. Will be interesting to follow their respective careers in comparison

Tim Weah has the best combination of both that we’ve seen in our pool I think.

I think he has one of the better dead ball games in the pool if not the best right now TBH.

Agreed. He is the kind of transition midfielder we lack.

A good month of results could see them clear of relegation...but I expect a bunch of draw and losses to draw this thing out.

It sounds like Salernitana (currently last place) will be kicked out of Serie A immediately if they aren’t sold by New Years. They have the same owner as Lazio, which isn’t ok, and haven’t been able to line up an independent buyer.

If it happens, best thing would be if all results against Salernitana are retroactively wiped out, since Venezia lost to them and their rivals mostly didn’t.

Meanwhile, Salernitana appears not to have shown up for their game today in Udine for COVID reasons (TV says “Awaiting Arrival of Away Team”), so Udinese will get three free points…unless they don’t. Always some drama in Calcioland.
