Might also matter how much (if any) financial trouble Venezia get into this year if they are relegated- the more they are forced to sell assets, the more likely a better club will take a flyer on him.

Last two changes. Busio and Johnsen — both of whom put in hard-working shifts — are replaced by Fiordilino and Henry.86’ | Venezia 1-1 Torino#VeneziaTorino— Venezia FC (@VeneziaFC_EN) September 27, 2021
Pretty good game from him. He was active defensively in the first half especially. Once they tried to have possession more, he was very clean in his passing. They aren’t actually terrible but lack talent In the final third
I know a young guy, highly rate too, that’s American that plays for a team in Texas that’s pretty good in the final third.
Pretty hard to expect anything but fighting against relegation until the end. Hopefully as that fully sinks in with the coach, it does not affect Busio's playing time or current tactics. But also Busio's mentality. We have seen over the years (and now as well) how playing for a relegation-threatened team can alter the player, alter the team.
As a fan of said Texas team for 25 years, I can honestly say that as much as I'd like to see Pepi do well overseas, why does my team always breed such good home players only to see them go? No other MLS team gives so much and gets so little in return.
That player in Texas is being linked with the likes of Ajax and Bayern you do not want to see him join Busio in this relegation battle.
First time I've ever posted anything about that. I've never seen anyone else who's ever posted on that. I make one comment and I have a martyr complex? How do I even respond to that?
FC Dallas fans sure do. You see it all over the internet. You think you’re the first one to ever express that thought, just now in this thread?
??? How on God's green earth did you read all of that into my post??? I really don't care what other fans say. I'm only speaking for myself. Give it a rest.
On loan I don’t mind seeing him at Venezia if striking corps are crowded at Ajax and Bayern which we know they are.
Busio thread. Pepi not going there. I do really enjoy watching busio even if he gets beaten for pace like 2-3 times every game. He sees the field so well. There is a reason every coach wants to find a place for him on the field.
Yeah, that close control, vision and technical quality, particularly in passing, is worth a whole lot of pace. I'm really please with how well he is progressing in Serie A thus far. His team isn't great but I think it's a good bet to stay up, as well.
You get the sense the tide is starting to turn and they're righting the ship as it were. Will be fun to see if they can manage it. Gonna be crowded at the bottom.
Following up on some discussion in the LDLT thread, is there a publication in Italy that does player ratings? I tried to look at Gazzetta dello Sport but failed to find it. I’d like to compare Busio to other midfielders.
