I know what you think :) but i just have to say - highly unlikely.

A draw or possibly a win by Ghana after utilizing free space in a counterattack.

Being half Moroccan of course I hope Morocco, but I'm not holding my breath, simply because of Ghana's home advantage.
Chamakh, Sektioui, Alloudi, and Chretien are really excellent and proven players, but I don't get some of the other choices.
I'd rather see Karim El Ahmadi on the field than many of those other guys who were called up.
If Aissati (one of Holland's biggest talents) would have chosen to come out for Morocco then it would be a very dangerous team.
And if Afellay (another huge talent) would have chosen Morocco instead of The Netherlands then it would be an exceptional team.

Any running commentary for the working stiffs of the world? I work with a Morroccan who'd interested.

The Canceled goal was because referee thought Moroccan player hit that player scored in his goal !!

Morocco's only hope is if Namibia scores a second-goal against Guinea.

I am deeply frustrated that the ref cancelled the moroccan goal. I watched the clip many times and i do not see anything wrong with it. What the hell is going on with the CAF?

Well Morocco should have been down to 10 men by then so it works both ways. Erbate's challenge on Essien is the worst tackle I've seen so far at the tournament and possibly all season.

To be honest they were better off having a goal disallowed but keeping 11 players rather than scoring but having a man sent off.

The Morrocan on the extreme left was offside. He took off before the ball was kicked. Folks accept this, Morrocco is not match for Ghana. We beat in a friendly in France 2-0 two months ago. Some people are underrating Ghana at their own peril. There is a history behind game in Africa. Cameroun for one have only defeated Ghana once. Let me tell you something! Ghanaians don't think nigeria, CIV, and others are better ballers. The only team that gives Ghana headaches, sometimes, is CIV. I have seen them play; ghana will beat them. It will be scrappy but Ghana will win. Apart from Egypt, Ghana has a better head to head record against any AFrican opposition. We are at par with Egypt. This match could have ended 4-0 for some good save of the Morroccan goalie.

Doesn't matter though, he did not influence the play. Unless other rules apply in the CAN tournament.

I have to agree. That was disgusting. Essien was lucky to be injured. Chelsea would have been furious.lol

But the right team won, who are Morroco to compete with Ghana.

    Congrats to Ghana and Guinea!:)
We didn't deserve to go trough with a team like this with no fighting spirit.
I hope with this defeat the coach will change many players and build up a new squad with the OT players like El Ahmadi, ElZhar and Maaroufi for the world cup qualification.

Congrats on the win. Essien, Agogo, and Muntari were excellent as always. Hopefully we (Nigeria) will be there to diffuse your theory about having better ballers, but that's talk for another day. Great game for Ghana, best of the tournament so far.

All i can say is good luck to Ghana and Guinea...and the coach Henri Michel is the one to be blamed because he made mistakes like not calling alot of good players...and the defence of MOROCCO was awful....

AND i hope we learn from these mistakes....:)

Is he going to be sacked or will he carry on into the qualifiers?
