I got this situation. Last year I didn't make the school team because I missed 2 days of the tryouts I think those where the most important because we actually played a scrimage. At the beginning of this year the coach seemed a bit impressed but once I got nervous and played horribly on a 2v1 drill and I think ever since then he thinks I suck. Today I was playing great in a possession drill but it looks like he never noticed me.

Tryouts start in about a month and I want to get noticed before that way I have an advantage over the other 100+ students that are trying out.

So how do I get noticed? I also want to talk with the coach any ideas on what I should say?thanks.

Your first hundred touches of the ball is not as good as your three hundred touch so get those three hundred touches before you step on the field.

Is this something coaches say? Because I always have to juggle with the ball and dribble before a match to get a 'feel' for the ball, but I'm never sure how long to do so.

The more touches you get before the tryout the better. The more you get into real game speed before the game starts the less flat you will be when the game starts.
