Although I'm sure Eric won't be happy about my post, I think he'll admit that he's scored at least 6 goals. He scored one for Colorado on 26 June 2004 and Peguro scored the other in a 2-1 win over Columbus on the road. The only trouble is that Eric was playing for Columbus when he scored his goal.

off the top of my head i can recall 4 goals by denton:
first was for DC against SJ...it was a long hard shot! next was a give and go ball from mcbride for columbus against NE (04.19.03) the next was against NE again he got the ball in his own half dribbled thru the entire backline and scored with the outside of his left foot. there was some offsides confusion on that goal however it is impossible to be offsides when YOU are the one with the ball the entire play (09.28.04) and then there was yesterdays beauty against CHI :)

    Eric's goal scoring history is:

#1 5/12/01 DC United (Eric's team) vs. San Jose (Joe Cannon goalie--Joe and Eric played for Santa Clara U. together)

#2 9/14/02 played for and scored for Columbus Crew

#3 4/19/03 played for and scored for Columbus Crew

#4 9/28/03 played for and scored for Columbus Crew

#5 6/26/04 own goal, Columbus Crew

#6 7/23/05 playing for and scoring for Colorado Rapids

Total of 5 goals scored by Eric for his team. Too bad the TV broadcasters, Rapids bio, and website don't have the correct information. Hopefully they'll fix their mistakes now.

Speaking of mistakes. Didn't the US win their 3rd Gold Cup yesterday? I heard Lionel Bienvienue state it was their second on 7 news. Didn't the first cup count? It was the first year, so maybe it wasn't official.

Please clarify if anyone know this.

    Thanks
