I flew with aeroflot a couple times, and they wanted to see and tag each carryon at checkin. I didn't take a chance and took a book bag and no issues. Worst case, checkin is free on all flights.

I have the same problem. Was expecting train tickets to be cancelled as teams with CSTs went out, but that hasn't happened.
Any advice on the absolute quickest way to get from Sheremeteyevo airport to Luzhniki please? My partner is due to land there at 14.40 tomorrow and it’s looking crazy tight to make it for KO at 17.00!
Two ways, Taxi, get the app yandex taxi and have taxi waiting at exit, tell driver to step on it, there will be heavy traffic going into Moscow, many returning from their summer houses at that time, price about 1200ru. To avoid any traffic problems, use the aeroexpress trains to centre moscow , times can be seen in link, https://aeroexpress.ru/en/aero/toMoscow.html your partner should be able to catch the 15.30 train, arrive central Moscow, Belorussky metro, walk to the green metro line, down few stops cross over to red line, which then takes you to the stadium. all travel on public transport is free on match days, aeroexpress too. fan id and ticket will need to be shown. Good luck.
Do they let you on the train without the actual ticket? Never had time to get mine, I have req number and other confirmations.
Any advice on getting from St Petersburg to Moscow on July 11th in between semi final games, flights and trains are outrageously expensive.
Isn't that thing they send you in your email with the bar code on it your ticket? Just print that at home and bring that...

You can go out to see bridges, Dvortsoviy will be opened at 1.10 and 3.10. Or you can visit Rubenstein street and have fun there. Or you can waiting for the train at the station. The train will be available in 30 min before departure.
Just came back from Russia. No need to ask the driver to step on it. They do it naturally, holly s**t
i’m going to take a taxi from Moscow to Nizhny on July 6th. It leaves at 06:00 and i also have a return trip that comes back at 21:00. If anyone wants to tag along let me know. I already paid it so you don’t have to worry about that, just trying to help anyone out trying to get to the game!
