Hello all, I'm a writer currently working on a project titled Soccer and Societal Development in Africa: A Profile. This project looks to focus on the many levels of soccer in Africa, starting with a look at the impact North American soccer based volunteer projects have on Africa and Africans. Have you ever been a participant in one of these? Share your stories and opinions below.
I'm also interested in hearing about soccer in Africa in general. What sort of activities and rituals do you feel make soccer unique to you and your fellow Africans? What's your favourite chant or cheer you say/sing/scream during a match? I'd love to hear your stories!
