well I made my post on the assumption that the club won't sell him before they sell Cassano, ZZ retires, etc. So it could work. Ideally Raul gets his timing back and becomes the 20 goal a year striker he used to be. Its nuts, these are the primes years of a footballers career and Raul is not able to get his form back for them.
sh*t Getafe was free on the break but somehow we stopped them. edit: it helped alot that the Getafe forward's touch was horrible.
Getafe are attacking and we are defending the midfield sucks the only one playin in there is Robhno and cichno but CC last touch is messy.

its a pretty even game at the moment, getafe have had the better chances but the game is evenly poised the defence is holding up thus far, poor meija is being left alone at CB if u ask me...
the more i see our team play, the more frustratation arises. the entire midfield is stagnant. the players spend an incredible amount of time passing balls in their own half! when is the last time one has seen a) a goal from a classic cross from the wing and the striker heads it in b) A chip inside the box and the striker finishes c) a beautiful one touch play in the midfield setting up an attack Am i the only one who is of the opinion that cicinho cannot cross the ball? he dribbles well, but 95% of his crosses suck. robinho on the other flank, dribbles into a wall of players. he can be body-checked so easily. What i am trying to say is that RM's game is so so repititive, that even before the game starts, the oppisition coach can predict the way, RM will attack. there is no innovation, no new ideas. i do not see how we will score, if we go on like this. where the f*ck is raul? he is just trolling around the box like a headless chicken without knowing where to run. bring on cassano, instead of robinho. oohh wait, i forgot caro does not how to sub players.
100% agree. RMs midfield has not taken 1 ball away or intercepted a single pass - all they do is commit fouls.
We seem to be so slow today building our attack that Getafe has plenty of time to block us out. We're playing quite defensively. Would love to see Cassano come on for Raul in the second half.
I can't handle Pablo Garcia anymore. Plays die in the midfield because of this guy. I'd be willing to throw Diogo in there right now and see what happens. Baptista is the best player so far. Cicinho is an very poor crosser, he was right when he decided to switch to RB to make the national team, because he wouldn't as an RW. Robinho is pretty useless out there on the left, he just keeps trying to trick out defenders but eventually just runs into them, dives, and looks for a call. He's turning into our Cristiano Ronaldo...except 2 times as expensive.
poor raul is not the same anymore...but to be fair, we have not created any chances for him. id like to see cassano and beckham in.
