Uhh, there's like 2 WRs on the team. Gotta fill out the roster somehow... And McConkey isn't available.
Re: Re: Re: Get your anti-dc gear on! But he wasn't great because he did drugs, and the drugs didn't make him great. I am a lifelong Jet fan who will willingly admit LT is the best I ever saw play LB, and the best defensive player I've yet seen play (though, I only go back to about 82, so I missed a lot of early greats). He was, however, also a major coke head. He was a great football player who, oh by the way, ruined his life with drugs. Just like Strawberry, only LT was better. I will agree he was great, but you have to agree he did have a more than passing acquaintance with the Peruvian Marching Powder.
...plus he hit a golf ball across the East River on a radio stunt back in the day. Yeah, crack is bad. *Lifts pipe to mouth* It'll hinder all your dreams, man! Fuck that shit!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Get your anti-dc gear on! So he was great at his job and he abused coke, your point is?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Get your anti-dc gear on! Man, nobody reads. Serg posted the picture. Comrade mocked him by saying, remember kids, don't smoke crack. Serg said "Yea, you dont wanna become the best linebacker to ever play the game as well as a Football Hall of Famer." - which is to imply that the crack had something positive to do with it, that it improved his play. The "don't do crack" message was one intended to show kids what to do and how to behave if they wanted to be a success. Serg's implication was that you could follow the drug life of LT and become a great football player. MY POINT was that this in not the case.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Get your anti-dc gear on! geez Jamison, way to deconstruct a sarcastic remark!!!!
