    You gotta quit living in the past, man.

    Even with a regular old horse, our mascot is one of the classiest in the country. Its way better than super-soaker toting blue popsicle.

    But what I wanna know is where that Metros Dog thing they had a few years ago is?

    Burn Home Opener Attendance: 9,098
    Rapids Home Opener Attendance: 20,819

    I'm quite happy that the Burn (and the local soccer community) are getting a great new facility.... but 'nuff said on the attendance front, right?

    Maybe in two years you might actually be able to fill 75% of that new 20,000 seat stadium. then again, maybe not.

    Bitter much?

    Full credit on your mascot though (especially the old horse), it is one of the better looking ones in the league. Real animals are always cooler than the walk around costumes (Good example, U. of Washington Husky dog vs. the walkaround Husky mascot).

    Metro the dog was around last year, but he didn't show up to the Metro-Crew game on saturday.
