Sane is a strange one to me, but as usual JN seems to want a genuine winger.

What's up with Stiller? I have not followed him in the Buli and I know JN yanked him last time out for Germany

Maybe he just isn't a good fit right now

Pavlovic and Stiller have played together in the Double Pivot in earlier Games.

Their Chemistry and the level of their dominance was exciting and a look in to the Present and future.

However injuries has curtailed that Partnership. But I don't see why Stiller is not back in now that he's fit.

Stiller plays a rather good season with Stuttgart.

El Mala on the moment: "I was at home, I don't like answering unknown numbers. Then he contacted me with: 'Hi, Julian Nagelsmann here, please call me back.' Then I immediately showed it to my brother and knew I was in."

Meaning: The DFB newcomer didn't answer Nagelsmann's call at all, ignored the unfamiliar number, until the national coach texted him again. Totally bizarre!

El Mala really should have texted Nagelsmann back with
"Sorry, I Mr Bagelsmann, I didn't order any Bagels, wrong number."

CF Undav is BACK from injury and back on form.

2 goals today in 3-2 W for 1BL Stuttgart and 3 goals in past 3 games. Also scoring winners in both games.

now we wait for players like Kleindienst, Havertz, Musiala, etc to make comebacks.

It will be interesting to see how many strikers Nagelsmann is willing to select for WC. Usually it is 2 or 3 strikers but I think with the load of strikers we have, Nagelsmann could select 4 to 5 strikers. The fixed ones should be Woltemade, Havertz, and Burkardt. The other 2 depending on their form could be Kleindienst, Beier, Undav, Schade,Lemperle, Füllkrug or Ansah.

shueeee havent had that many options a in while.....

Some of those could also be called up as attcking midfields....I guess he might call up 3 - all depending on how they will be in form next year, so I guess he now needs to narrow it down to 30 players in march 2026 and then work towards 26 players - I guess his current list is more like 35/40 players overall.
there are about 5 keepers at at this stage alone.

It's BS.. the whole team looks disjointed and scared. It's all about individual brilliance with Liverool instead of a real system. And most established players are in poor form. I wonder how much the death of Jonta plays its roll in here. This can be quite shocking for young people. However it would be very unfair to expect a turnaround for the current English champion from a new 21st year old squadmate who just joined team and league for the first time. It's the manager who has to find solutions and I doubt he is able to do so.

I think their coach is under fire and he won't complete the season. Maybe winning against madrid gave him a boost but any other loss in PL would put his position under jeopardy. Hopefully change of coaching would be beneficial for Wirtz to be back to his brilliant leverkuson form.

Liverpool are suffering from the loss of TAA's progression and passing deeper in midfield, plus their defence is a complete mess.

While I guess part of their thinking was for Wirtz to take on some of the creative responsibility it needs a major reshaping of the team and Slot hasn't really looked close to sorting it out.

Liverpool have looked mostly OK offensively and have been a bit unlucky in recent games, but they also concede just way too many goals to be competitive right now.

yeah English media can be harsh.... but to be honest Wirtz needs to make it happen for himself.. He said a while back he want to be the best player in the world.. so he has to work hard to improove. Yes he needs time, but knowing how harsh/hard the premier league can b,e he needs to step up, and I hope he does as we need him to be one of the worlds best.

Can I ask what are their profiles besides Woltemade, Kai and Shade? I've not seen enough of Burkardt and the rest to know what exactly they bring to the game.

Kleindienst and Füllkrug are physical and more classic tall strikers. I think having one of these 2 in the final squad is enough cuz they are similar style. Beier, Undav, Burkardt and Schade look more like 2nd strikers or wingers ( though Burkardt is doing well with Frankfurt as lone striker) because they are more fast and direct players but are not tall enough to play as lone strikers. Ansah for me is the most complete as he has the dribbling skills, physicality, height that Woltemade has but has much better pace. His only issue is lack of experience on the highest level.
