So what do you guys think of our new WC kit
Mhhhh I find it it a bit like let’s make use and old idea and make it new - think they could have done better … who knows maybe it will grow on me , but for now not impressed

If anything, it's a must-have because it's the last Germany World Cup kit made by Adidas, at least until 2034.

I sincerely hope the DFB come to their senses by that time and return to Adidas once the Nike deal is up.

It's ok, not sure on the collar design but I guess it's a nod to the 1990 kit?

Absolutely. The 1990 team and the kit has a Special place in my heart. Truly amazing.

Remember purchasing the Green away shirt 1991 with the same design. Still got it.

It's absolutely FANTASTIC. Brings back the memories of Euro 88, 1990 world cup, and Euro 92.

not a kit guy, but I always preferred the plain old black (shorts) and white (shirt) only.

no black shirt, no yellow, no red, no green, no cringe pink (Although for some reason that one for Euro 2024 was a bestseller....)

El Mala first call up! Plus Thiaw recalled is good, hope we can perm cap tie him this time.

Disappointed not to see Bischof there and
not sure what Sane has done to get called up, he's been ok at Galatasaray but nothing amazing (in a weaker league). Stiller should be there too.

Julian Nagelsmann says: "With two wins, we want to secure World Cup qualification – and on top of that, a place in Pot 1 for the World Cup group stage draw in four weeks. Then we can further advance and finalize our plans for 2026. I've been in constant and very good contact with Leroy Sané; he earned his nomination with strong performances in the Champions League and the Süper Lig. Malick Thiaw is a regular starter in the Premier League and, after his move to England, immediately became one of the key players in his team. And Said El Mala should show us what he can do with all his carefree attitude and exuberance. We are keeping an eye on the talents from our U21 team and, in consultation with Toni Di Salvo, want to give them the opportunity to showcase themselves with the senior national team from time to time."

I feel like every Germany NT coach seem to have this inability to LET GO of players, LOL. Like Turkey 1st gets you NT call up, since when???? What strong performances are those? I've seen media say that Sane hasn't done anything of note......

Thiaw, his recall was likely simply because Nagelsmann rates EPL more than 1BL-Serie A.

its nice to see El Mala, although funny enough even if he plays he wouldn't be perm capped either. As there is that 21 y/o rule, if you play competitive game non-tourney prior to 21 you could still bail later.

Nagelsmann is a waster, yesterday seems like he was debating HARD on whether he should call up young players or not. And he kept yapping about the pool is too deep to make room, LOL. Instead of Goretzka, Amiri, Leweling, Sane could have made room for Ouedraogo, Bischof, Stiller, Karl. He's just filling squad with lesser players.

    LOL
"This is bullshit. He wants experienced players but most these have been shit for the national team. Please integrate young player for ******** sake. Don’t wait until they’re 25 to add the to the NT. When JN leaves, he’ll leave nothing for the next coach, start from zero again."

this is similar to what I recently said that Nagelsmann will bail from Germany wasting tourneys on older players with not much youth integration and the next coach will have to do everything himself aka will be forced to do youth revolution as these 90s players will be fast approaching the door.

Stefan Kuntz was part of the Germany squad that won Euro 1996 as a Beşiktaş player, same as Mario Gomez for Euro 2016, so there is precedent.

    Gomez was a rare exception
-Low felt guilty that he missed WC14 and missed winning WC trophy due to injury.
-in his 1 season only in Turkish 1st, Gomez won Turkish 1st Top scorer, 1st German to win it
-Low was blacklisting left and right every CF that Gomez was our last option left for EC16. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

for EC96, I don't recall why Kuntz was there, I was only a child and at that age, one doesn't know where the players even play, LOL.

does anyone here recall why Kuntz was given a pass?

Sane has done nothing and also given our CF issues basically started towards end of 90s, I could understand why players in that position where given a pass.

I am glad that Nagelsmann finally dropped Koch and Andrich. But still cannot understand recalling Sane since he is doing ok but in a lower league and he won't offer much more than Beier for example. Stiller also is way better than goretzka and Amiri. The german midfield should be Nmecha, Pavlovic , and Stiller for Euro and Kimmich as rb. Karl and Bischof could have been included but they need to start playing regularly which will happen soon so their time will come in 2026. Quaedrago deserves more being selected but maybe Nagelsmann want to keep some talents for the U21. The defence looks settled in general for Euro with Thiaw finally deserving the call up. The question remains who will be dropped the moment Rüdiger is back and if Bisseck keeps playing regularly it is hard to ignore him.

LMAO, that the U21 M could be far more promising than SNT. Imagine

    --------------------Karl--------------------
    ----------Bischof------------Ouedraogo-----

in terms of technical skills, ballplaying skills, combination play could be loads of fun if Di Salvo goes for it.

we still Wirtz+Pavlovic in SNT but that's only 2/3 players.

I think for CBs, Anton is a good axing candidate.

Kuntz was a very Good squad player for that Tournament in 96. Infact his performance against England in the Semi final was Top Class.

I thought he was a real work horse and gave it his best.

I just want to fast-forward to the point where all the players born in the 90s are gone.

Im fuming. SANE! AMIRI! GORETZKA! and Stiller dropped for these Clowns. The same Stiller Real Madrid and Man utd are eyeing up. Honestly, Nagelsmann is no different to the other bufoons before him.

naw German scientists are getting close to getting the immortality formula ready and they want Kimmich, Goretzka, Tah, Sane, Rudiger etc to be the first inline.

    Let's go!!!!!
90s born players forever and ever!!!!

If Stiller is not in the squad then who is Nagelsmann planning to start with in midfield. Hopefully he is not thinking about putting kimmich back in midfield to partner goretzka or will he go with Amiri and Goretzka. Nmecha and Pavlovic should be starting. Both are playing at a very high level. Nmecha is dortmund's best player this season and Pavlovic is doing very well recently after coming back from injury especially in PSG match which was the biggest test and I had doubts bayern's midfield would dominate PSG's midfield.

for 90s born, at this point, the only ones worth keeping are the late 90s born like Schlotterbeck, Havertz, Raum, Baku, Nmecha those types.

Raum+Baku is need due to fullback positions. Although we are producing numerous interesting next gen LBs the time isn't right to nix the LBs like Raum+Mittelstadt. Mittelstadt is just a back up option as he's been displaced by Brown. I think its 100% because Brown plays for a CL club. But still good to see, its obvious that Mittelstadt isn't a solution at LB tbh better focuse on next gen option like Brown.

and then Baku is one of the few RB options we have. Even better since Raum+Baku are the LB+RB XIs for Leipzig too.

Kimmich, Kleindienst, some of the 90s CBs like Tah, Rudiger are the only others that should still be used. Although even then I'm not huge on Tah+Rudiger but due to age/experience and the clubs they play at, its hard to dismiss them.

that's basically it, rest need to become depth options ONLY. Like Mittelstadt needs to be the first of many that gets DISPLACED.

Fullkrug wants to leave EPL as he wants to make WC26 Squad. Some reports say he's coming home to 1BL too.

I don't blame him, his entire EPL time=back to younger days of ALWAYS injured. Funny thing about Fullkrug is that he was always highly rated but always injured when younger. He's a rare CF that made me write him off as he was either always injured or always loyal to 2BL clubs or relegated clubs. Very frustrating career to watch but also crazy to see how we finally saw glimpses of his potential like winning 1BL top scorer, making CL final, his super efficiency for German SNT. But then goes to EPL and goes back to his old injury prone habits.........

although I think he's just kidding himself he won't get called up unless he scores like a madman in 2nd half of season.

Nagelsmann threatened him if he doesn't go to EPL he won't get called up and now returning to 1BL will likely nix his chances.
