LOL "U21 has a better midfield players than some in national team. Nagelsman is a fraud for his bias." and imagine Pavlovic is also U21 eligible too!!!
Anthony Gordon responds to Karl-Heinz Rummenigge calling Newcastle idiots for paying the Woltemade fee: "I don’t know why you’d comment on a player who is not at your club. It’s a bit stupid to be honest, especially when the player has started really well. Had he started really poorly then you make that comment, but he's scored three goals in four games, so it was a bit of a weird comment." no it isn't weird. the translation is that KHR is just being petty as ******** and annoyed since Bayern really wanted Woltemade, LOL. way too many Germans in footy have this petty vindictive aspect about them where they will feel the need to shit HARD on something or someone. In this case he choose to shit on Newcastle, LOL. also didn't Bayern offer like $60M Max? So in effect they lost Woltemade bid based ONLY on $10M........
Bayern are basically cheap skates and undervalue when it comes to German players, and are bitter about it now because they couldn't force this deal through. Why the ******** shouldn't Woltemade cost that amount when you see the prices of other players, especially strikers. In any case how can they call people idiots for signing a young CF with a high ceiling when they pay 70m for 29 y/o Luis Diaz and 15m to LOAN Jackson lol.
I don't like EPL but I think all of us are just glad he didn't go to Bayern, LOL. I don't want any German CF to play Kane back up.
Four players have contested 15+ duels in the Champions League and won 80% or more of them:◉ 86.96% - Lukas Lerager (20/23) ◉ 84.21% - Dean Huijsen (16/19)◉ 82.35% - Manuel Locatelli (14/17) ◉ 80.95% - Nathaniel Brown (17/21) 🤺🤺🤺 https://t.co/En7JXnOKSI— Squawka (@Squawka) October 2, 2025
yeah. Also the Woltemade deal is a pass through deal which inflated the price. Newcastle got huge money for Isak but had to get a replacement. The deal is cost neutral to them. It's liverpools money and the seller cashed in. Bayern should have acted earlier in the window.
https://www.teamtalk.com/manchester...ich-star-confirmed-prime-sergio-busquets-talk Why would Pavlovic contemplate leaving for the PL? Our best players need to stay in Germany
Woltemade=flop sturmer 3 goals in 4 EPL games=pathetic sad shit. if Selke was playing EPL he would already be at 10 goals!!!!
Been brilliant. Alot of scrutiny from the Media how he would cope with leading the line. Been outstanding. All the pressure hes dismissed like water off a ducks back. Germany are lucky we have such a Quality young 9 ready to lead the line for the next decade
Newcastle fan here. Interesting to read the comments on Woltemade. He has started very impressively and I like what i see from him. He is great at dropping deep, holding the ball up and linking play. Great feet in tight areas. Similar to Kane in that he does not necessarily have the pace to run in behind but still makes his way into the box and is a good finisher with his feet and head. I can see why Bayern wanted to sign him based on this. I think our style also suits him as we have fast wingers who can run beyond him and also provide him with good service. Eddie Howe will be a great manager for him as his record of working with and improving young players is very good. We have had a slow start to the season mainly caused by the Isak disruption but are now beginning to click. I can see us now pushing for top 5 again and having good runs in Europe and the domestic cups as we have a deep squad now. What are the opinions on Malick Thiaw? He is an imposing size and is technically good. He has already forced himself into our starting 11 and has his own chant. Is he highly rated in Germany?
Yes happy for Woltmade our hope for Thiaw is that he becom,es a regyular starter at Newcastle and develop his game, he has the potential.
most of us want Thiaw to get his call up. It could be possible that NUFC will start with two German internationals soon. For what that is worth nowadays.
🇩🇪 Noah Atubolu has been called up to the senior national team for the first time. Oliver Baumann is struggling with nausea and is a doubt for tomorrow's training [dfb] pic.twitter.com/w1S57jclXf— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) October 6, 2025 Doubt it will happen, but would make sense to take the chance to cap tie him v Luxembourg imo.
yeah but Luxembourg are the elite of the elites. If we play Atubolu, we likely will concede a SHIT TON. we can't afford to take such a HUGE risk!!!!
The thing with Woltemade is he has developed his technical skills first, he was always a skilful dribbler and often used as an AM, despite always having a lot of the skillset required for a CF. You combine that with his natural size/physicality plus the fact he's now improved with his hold up play and heading means he is looking like a complete CF with a pretty unique profile. On top of that he has a great mentality and a laid back persona that has helped to make the quick adjustment to playing in England.
I still remember loads of people writing Woltemade off because he went on 3rd Liga loan.....yeah where he played major role in historic 2BL Promotion to Elversberg and was declared best player in that league. Then because he didn't have an amazing season in 1BL on his return only scoring like in May, he also got written off again. Only exploded last season of 2024-2025,where he had an amazing season and even winning 2 scoring trophies in DFB Cup and U21 Euro. Now this season seems to be continuing from that too. He's a good example of reality of CFs, they in general will not explode in their teens, the most important thing is to show patience with them and to have consistent game time. If the package/potential is there, they will have that breakout season at some point. The more Woltemade plays the more he improves his overall game too. speaking of Atubolu he's being linked with Inter Milan and Frankfurt.
So been reading German media and many articles have stated that Nagelsmann now needs to settle his team - and being criticised for always changing the formation , changing the players - e.g inviting Collins , starting him and now not inviting him again - basically instead of giving him confidence he is breaking him down . He keeps on inviting new players and dropping others like it’s going out of fashion. I must agree he is tinkering way to Much . Pavlovic out then back in , Burkhardt out then in , now mittlestadt is out as well as Gross, what about Bischoff, Bisseck and Thiaw , why not integrate them ? And is Baku now the replacement for Collins as he is still trying to find a replacement for kimmich , where it’s clear Kimmich should play RB for the NT. anyway Rudi Voller showed him the basics against the one game against France , and he said he will stick to the basics and now he is tinkering why do our German national coaches not understand that the NT is nota. League club , it’s a National team and at National level you stick to the basics ….its like they have to many toys to play with and can’t make up their mind which toy to play with .
Nagelsman so desperately wants to find a RB , where as I think kimmich should play there, as we have so many other options at Midfield , and I would even use Gross as a backup at RB , Gross is versatile and can play in that role .
LOL, winning team......that's all the young players called up. 📸🇩🇪 The winning team in the final training pic.twitter.com/JjuAeoL9VZ— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) October 9, 2025 Dahmen, Brown, Atubolu, Schade,Adeyemi, Woltemade, Beier, Wirtz, Pavlovic
As we keep saying, younger gen > 90's gen. Also... Julian Nagelsmann is planning to start Joshua Kimmich at right-back against Luxembourg tomorrow. The coach has used him there in training all week [@BILD] pic.twitter.com/QaImwE3C1F— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) October 9, 2025 Would be the most sensible decision, but it's funny how Nagelsmann keeps changing his mind.
its legit embarrassing that a bunch of 01-onwards beat the 90s born, LMAO. but knowing Nagelsmann he'll continue to push for 90s born as main core even when obvious that most of them aren't good enough. Nagelsmann needs to realize that Kimmich is our best RB, enough with him at M, he's SHIT for Germany there. Playing anyone else there will just destabilize the team, in fact, a LOT of the German destabilizing really revolves around Kimmich. Not good enough for M but every coach wants to play him there which then weakens the D because he's terrible in M and leaves entire D exposed. It was working well enough when he was playing RB why change it??? Coaches need to stop obsessing over what clubs do. Who cares where he plays at Bayern, in SNT, player positions should be based on need.
What's going on with german youth football? A few years ago they were on the precipice of exploding and now it seems the current senior team can integrate new players. Did something happen recently in german football that's causing a stagnation? Sounds exactly how scaloni operates
for the goaly: Honestly I would go with Baumann. It's the only candidate without much question marks. He's with the team for years, always reliable, experienced, very good positional game. It's a shame for MatS but he's not fit enough anymore. Atubolu is a tourney too early, Nübel inconsistent af and Manuel Neuer partly ********ed up the last tourney and has a questionable team effort. I would go with Baumann as 1 and Dahmen and Atobulo as 2 and 3 (no order).
I am a fan of the theory that Nagelsman correctly sidelined Kimmich at the euros and dropped Goretzka entirely and the team was better for it. The team needs to belong to the next generation now and that means Wirtz, Musiala and Havertz IMO. Who leads the back 4 will depend if 2026 is a year too far for Rudiger. Then Germany actually has a cadre of new talent like Woltemade etc etc - who will play is hard to predict as it will depend a lot on form in the next 9 months. On that basis Neuer should not come back. Space needs to be made for the new leadership, while keeping some experience on the pitch.
