Neuer has to be a bad joke. We turn this into our very own C. Ronaldo situation. Have we first to bottle a whole tourney again to move on from him? Jesus Christ.

Surely Naglesmann has to make the decision for him and let him know Der Stegan is the number one.

Neuer is still a top GK, and he has pulled off some tremendous saves, but it's time to move on. Ter Stegen and Nubel should fight it out for the No. 1 spot.

The team were way ahead of my expectations. Not so much in terms of how deep they went - i think that was mostly bad luck in terms of meeting the best team so early - but the quality of play was awesome given Nagelsmann only had the team for less than a year and started from a really bad place

It was interesting that Kimmich spoke of a performance culture in the team like he never experienced before. IMO this shows the problem before. Germany has good enough players, but the culture of the team was all wrong. Yet when you get it right - they fought like hell.

Yes, spot on. The value of team characteristics and culture is paramount in a team dominated sport.

2028 can't come soon enough. I really want to witness Germany winning their fourth Euro title.

We need to get a winning mentality set in with the national team.

Winning the Nations league would be a hugh coup. And it's time we took it seriously.

The Spanish were in the same boat as us after the last world cup, but they then went on to win the Nations league last year, since then they've built up a winning mentality.

I really hate the Spain comparisons. I don't want them to do well under any circumstances.

Being on an equal number of Euro titles is humiliating enough. Being surpassed by them would be even worse. Sadly the only thing preventing that is an England side that look unconvincing as hell. I hope the miracle happens this Sunday.

guess we can write him off.

what a downgrade from 1BL to Portugal 1st division.

never understand these type of transfers. Players should transfer to other top 4 league clubs not ones even lower.

not that I saw him having realistic call up chances to play for real but that's 1 less option for pool.

Yeah, same thing happened to Weigl, whose NT career was kaputt the moment he joined Benfica.

    as expected.

we need to stop hiring coaches like this. We need someone who can actually build something.

Wagner better get his coaching licence ready by that time, then.

Agree. It takes a full world cup - Euros cycle to build a National team with identity. These quick fixes rarely come In to fruition.

Dortmund have really disappointed me. They continue to make foolish decisions.

Hope Fullkrug really proves his doubters wrong, and has a fantastic season. Surely his face doesn't fit, his center forward ability is quality.

Yeah this was always going to be the case. Hope they have already talked and lined up Klopp. He looked so drained at the end in Liverpool so a switch to International football is the next step. Just hope we get him before England, because I have a feeling that they will try and go for him after Southgate moves on.
