according to Spanish reports, Toni Kroos is recommending Real Madrid buy Stiller in Summer.

yup, next gen M is coming soooooon, we could be looking at 4+ young M in top clubs next season.

I hope Nick Woltamade got a call up to the senior side. The sooner he got promoted to senior side the better, we can have proper ST for years to come. Because many are injured, this upcoming call up may see some new faces. I hope.

Remember Luca Waldschmidt? Don't rush those youngsters, especially forwards. It's already an accomplishment to play a lot of minutes with his club team and consistently impress with the youth national team. He will be ready after the WC next year.

Süle hasn't been called up to the NT in a very long time, but he made a good case for himself in the last stretch of the season.

I would prefer Süle to do it over a longer stretch, but we don't have a ton of options right now and when he's fit and somewhere near his best he can be an asset. So yeah a call up could make sense.

LOL Di Salvo would totally bitch if this happens. I don't mind if we focus on other U21 CFs for U21 Euro instead.

for Sule you guys shouldn't forget that Nagelsmann has known him for a LONG LONG Time.

but yeah it feels messy at how we are forced to call up and do makeshift CB pairings in a SF, LOL. And also missing loads of CFs too.

its pretty interesting how we keep hiring Assistant Coaches that look to have 0 potential as next SNT coaches.

Flick was the last SNT assistant who had potential to become SNT coach every other Assistant coach=NOPE.

still funny how Flick is worst ever SNT coach because of his own stupidity and nothing more.

Woltemade will be missed in the U21 Euro but SNT is the main issue so hopefully he gets on the pitch and impresses. With him and Burkardt both in the squad (plus Adeyemi) we are really starting to see the next gen of NT strikers start to establish themselves.

Btw it's funny how pretty much the whole squad leaks out in the press before every official announcement.

surely Kevin Schade will get called up and he's another who can play all attacking position. He's also always had a great air game too. And another in that 00-onwards age group too.

its one reason I never bought the so called Sane comparisons. Sane can't play CF and their style is different too.

will be curious to see who takes Woltemade's spot in U21 though.
LOL Di Salvo, Moukoko (goes on a bad loan because of BVB), Beier (with Club World Cup), Woltemade (SNT), Adeyemi (SNT+Club World Cup) and suddenly HUGE amount of attackers that were difference makers are all gone.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    Tresoldi+Weiper are likely need another.
Candidates are Harres, Lemperle, Scherhant, Ansah, Downs, Topp, Pejcinovic (injured so nope for him)

    Woltemade to SNT is interesting
-surely he's Germany's tallest ever CF, no? At 1.98m tall I don't think anyone has ever been that tall for us, unless I'm mistaken. Almost all of the CFs from the 60s-90s were in that 170s-180s range only from what I recall. In the 90s era we started to seeing 190s tall but I don't recall anyone being almost 2m tall.
-he's nicknamed Woltemessi and Swabian Ibrahimovic, LOL
-has very promising package, has potential to be complete CF aka very good technical skills, dribbling skills can dribble past 3-4 players, back to goal/hold up play, build up play, passing, getting better in terms of aerial play compared to his younger days
-made difference in every match in DFB Cup this season aka helped the team make the Final this season.
-on track to win DFB Cup top scorer, the 1st German young player to win that since Thomas Muller like 15 years ago.
-back in March, completely and utterly destroyed and wrecked Spain U21!!!!!!!:thumbsup::D:D:D
-imagine someone like Woltemade playing along with Musiala and Wirtz funny enough they've never played together not even YNT.

I don't think we've ever had someone like him dev by Germany nor is he a type of player that other countries dev either. Which makes him a more unique type of player.

Potential wise he shouldn't have any issues fitting in with SNT as not every CF is suitable for SNT.

So it seems that, despite being back from injury, neither Havertz or Musiala will be called up. In Musiala's case it's to give him more time to prepare for CWC. Fullkrug is back though.

    So question is ….

yes we should beat Portugal … should

Will Germany have their revenge on Spain ? Is Germany strong enough to actually beat them ?( Spain obviously have to beat France first )

so my take is Spains team is known Germany have many players in their team that are not so well known . All I can hope that we play like that one game where Rudi was in charge .

On paper both Spain and France are probably better set up , hope we have that German figtining spirit for these two games

    let’s go Deutschland

I am not so sure we can beat Portugal with all the injuries we face currently. On the other hand, I really don't see France and Spain ahead of us in general. It's a bit like hunting Argentina in the 00s and finally overcome them in 2006. In the last years everything went close to perfect for Spain. I don't see them deeper or better than us at all.

So, considering your question: I am not that sure we can overcome Portugal and I am on the same side not that worried for a final against Spain. Instead this has the potential for a brutal classical. The type of game we all became football fans for. So, relax, stay positive and enjoy life. :D

surprising that Burkardt+Schade=both left out....like how is Gnabry ahead for example???

Bischof is surprise call up, who would have thought. Then again Nagelsmann is a HUGE fan of his and he had a breakout 1BL season.

with Bischof, Pavlovic, Stiller the next gen Ms are already making the SNT jump!!!!!

Yeah Burkardt not being there is a big surprise, top German scorer in 1BL.

I like how we're seeing a generational shift in midfield,

how long until Ouedraogo gets that SNT call up!!!! LOL, go full on next gen!!! Gross, Goretzka, Andrich are all in their 30s.

Nagelsmann on Tom Bischof: "He played a very good season despite Hoffenheim's difficult situation. He's a very promising player for the future. I think it's good to have him here now and be able to test him. His new club [Bayern] didn't release him for the U21 Euros, but the schedule allowed that we call him up and he still can play the Club World Cup. It's deserved because he played a good season"
