We might have one or two Achilles heels

if anything happens to Kimmich at right back
Injury /suspension who could replace him ?

and who is the backup for havertz / Musiala and Wirtz basically we needs a bit more depth there - we
Might be easily replacing one of them
But two could become an issue .

sane and Gnabry are so 2020

I like Andrich very much and he had a fantastic game yesterday. That last ditch tackling to save that chance for Hungary was great. I can see him winning a tourney. With Gross it's different. He's already 33, not sure what Nagelsmann is planning here for the next circle?!

Merlin Röhl is pretty close to a call up, could be there in October. Rocco Reitz potentially as well. If Assan Ouedraogo can force his way into Leipzig xi then he has the potential to become an option too.

Age does not matter. Pascal Gross made several key pass. First diagonal ball to wirtz, second cross to Havertz which he headed to the crossbar and many more during the game.

Gross also taking a corner kick instead of Kimmich.

Those quick diagonal balls are Kroos’s main weapons and Gross is simply replicate him. Gross is not a fancy type of player but a work horse can play either foots run up and down over the pitch always make himself open to receive a pass.

Pavlovic is may be ideal player for starting in the near future but for now Gross’s overall game is still better than Pavlovic.

Pavlovic and Stiller are clearly being groomed to be the future of Germany's central midfield but I like Groß and Andrich. Not everyone in a national side needs to be a star, and they're both very reliable guys who play their role and deserve to be part of this team.

Pavlovic obviously needs to have a decent club season to be first choice IMO

Gross does a job in terms of progression, and I think midfield is going to be more about the guys ahead of him i.e quite different to the Kroos version of the team

Gruda and Wanner are probably at the same talent level as Musiala and Wirtz…then of course you have Brandt and Adeyemi
Last but not least in worst case scenario you have Sane and Gnabry
Think Germany is pretty stacked with talent pool in the attacking department

Fritz I thought is more like Neuhaus an attack minded midfielder and not someone who can help the defense but he is young so let’s see
Haven’t seen of Rohl much so curious to see what happens in the coming months

Yep. Alot of talent. But not sure Gruda and wanner are in Musialas or wirtz talent bracket yet.

I seriously doubt Nagelsmann spends time lurking around this forum.

Fullkrug is out due to unfit. But this shows that Nagelsmann isn't 100% trusting of Havertz at CF and with Gundo gone is now playing CFs alongside Havertz in middle.

for me Havertz is at his best when he goes free roaming all over the pitch and plays off someone like we saw vs Hungary.

because he free roams too much, it means a LOT of times his movement is piss poor and isn't well positioned for the CF type finishing and we end up with 0 presence in box.

Undav is the right decision to replace Füllkrug if Fülle is not fit. I think Undav deserves a game.

pretty poor match so far from Germany, how much is it due to old M vs a fast Dutch team?
