Nagelsmann already have said that he is looking for a classic center forward to come off the bench. Therefore even though Fullkrug has been in terrible club form over the past 18 months he will most likely make the squad just like Klose used to do and perform for Germany

if Woltemade could keep up his level at Newcastle maybe that would have diminished need of a classic number 9 but since that didn’t happen I think Fullkrug will be in the squad to play for 20-30 minutes as a sub

Yeah I agree Fullkrug is most likely, it's a shame Kleindienst is injured as he'd have been a better option imo.

On another note, good to see Musiala's form slowly starting to pick up. Havertz also looking good for Arsenal today.

Whilst Havertz linked up well. His finishing has cost Arsenal big time Yesterday. He missed 2 Great Chances!

yeahh well Sane better shape up to take Gnabry's place
9 attacking players for 4 positions
    1. Undav
    2. Havertz
    3. Woltemade
    4. Wirtz
    5. Musiala
    6. Karl
    7. Sane
    8. ???
    9. ???
mhh yeahhh doesn't look all that great also looking at our attack , with some players coming back from Injury , not in form etc ...I guess Nagelsmann will have to pull some one out the hat...we need better subbs ...

So who could actually replace Gnabry - as he can play Any Attacking positions...
    1. Sane - yes he will profit
    2. Kleindienst and Fulkrug - don't think any of the due to Injury
    3. Adeyemi/Shade/Leweling - Only wingers not a 10 like Gnabry
    4. Assan Ouédraogo, Nadiem Amiri, Saïd El Mala
    5. Beier, Burkhardt
    6. Bischoff , Gruda - maybe one of the will slip in

Agreed, finishing has never been his biggest strength. He'd be better playing behind a natural finisher imo. The closest to that we have right now is Undav.

May be Nagelsmann is right! Tournament football will need various characters, some may not perform in clubs but could be useful in the tournament. As long as the coach knows what's special trait of that player is, suited for which situation. I guess That's how he earn millions as a coach.

Gnabry is a big lost. He's at the end of his career, and now this injury happened.

I agree Gnabry will be missed. He was supposed to be super sub or even starter if any of havertz, wirtz, or Musiala were not fit.
However, we won the WC without our best players back then Reus, Gündogan and Gomez. So hopefully we won't have more injuries especially since bayern players have many tough matches coming and Nmecha gets back in time for the WC since he is needed for our midfield.

I did not know he was an Eintrach player. It seems Frankfurt want to trigger buy back clause to sign Futkeu in summer. Frankfurt are struggling this season so maybe he would be a good addition for them especially that Burkardt is very injury prone.

There is still no accurate time when he would be back but the most important thing is that he will still play part this season so there is no fear that he would miss the WC

Havertz injury not serious, could even be back v Atletico on Wednesday apparently. Karl is close to a comeback and Nmecha has started running again, expected to be back for Dortmund before the end of the season.

yeah and if Bayern makes the final we have potentially 7 players in the final , meaning they wont be available for the the game against Finland.
Havertz, Kimmich , Goretska, Pavlovic, Musiala, Tah and Karl. And Gnabry anyway missing

I hope Nagelsmann take noted and learned from Bayern's defeated last night. PSG's front 3 were vicious with or without the ball, it'd take Bayen's 3 defenders to cover 1 of them.

They defensed deep and countered. Bayern control possession both game but could not break though even with Harry Kane being the best 9 in the world presently.

This is main problem with high line aggressive play. If you're forced to attack, your defence is vulnerability.
