Thiaw scores again for Newcastle. imo Thiaw should be 3rd or 4th choice after Schlotterbeck and Tah who should be our starters. Let us see if he gets few min in March because Nagelsmann cannot rely just on 2 CBs in case any gets injured before or during the WC.

Well he isn't relying on just 2 CB; that's why there's Rudiger and Bisseck. Thiaw as a set piece threat is a real asset but there are too many games where he makes bad mistakes that cost his team games.

He has been scoring for the NT of late which, if that remains consistent, makes his club form irrelevent. I have watched him play recently and honestly it was bad. He seemed completely out of the game in multiple games that I saw. I don't know if that's purely on him or it's more of a team / coach problem.

Kai Havertz' game intelligence, positional play, and fluidity is such that he will adjust to the movement and positions of the other players. Flat out I will take that attacking midfield trio of Wirtz, Havertz, Musiala over any other in the world once fully fit and in form. Musiala's form since recovery is still off.

Woltemade is the question wrt fitting in with the other 3.

This is why Nagelsmann still looks to Gnabry who does make those runs for Bayern when Kane is deep

Havertz also does make those channel runs

We defintaley have great options up front ... also think Woltemade at Newcastle is a diffrent team setup then the Woltemade at NT , but yes Undav, Gnabry we have options

    Maybe Kleindienst even.
Don't forget Kleindienst who looks little bit close to Woltemade in terms of size and height. He did well with the NT when he played. The only concern is that gladbach are weak team so this could be the only disadvantage for him and for Reitz as well ( who is on the verge of moving to leipzig).

Kleindienst would definitely be in my 26 man squad if he's fit, along with Woltemade, Undav and Burkardt. I don't think 4 CF's is overkill especially given their different atttibutes.

The issue for Kleindienst is his expected comeback is only in March, so how much he can contribute this season is in question.

4 would be more than enough imo. Woltemade and Undav looks like the fixed ones. The other two remains questionable. Burkardt if he gets back to form will face competition from Ebnotaleb who is also eligible to play for Germany ( when he is back in March). There are also younger options who could breakthrough like Pejcinovic if he can reach double digits

Wirtz was incredibly Good last night again. His Physical attributes gained over the last few months added to his exemplary footballing ability makes him for me the best Footballer in the world currently. Really excited for what a enhanced wirtz brings to Germany National team come this summer.

Nations League group A2: Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, Greece.

In comparison with other groups pretty decent. The Dutch and us should go through.

    Havertz Injured again ---------- arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh

In the four matches since that United game, Havertz started three and Arsenal scored 11 goals. He managed two goals and two assists in those games, in a reminder of why Mikel Arteta rates him so highly
Kai Havertz has picked up a muscular injury and is set to miss Arsenal's next four games at least, ruling him out of the north London derby at Tottenham later this month.

Watced the AC Milan vs Pisa match. Fullkrug came on at halftime. He was pure garbage. Missed a vital penalty, conyributed nothing of value, and was substituted off with minutes to go. He should be nowhere near the NT.

Watched the Werder Bremen vs Bayer Munich game.

Goretzka - very good game both offensively and defensively
Tah and Karl both had good games.
Kimmich was very middle road. Wasn't terrible but IMO showed why he should'nt be in central/defensive midfield.
    Gnabry was mediocre and ineffective.

Assist by Bisseck for winning goal for Inter in the derby d'Italia. Watched a little of this game. I was impressed by him.

Yea, old age and even more injuries have caught up with Fullkrug. The toxic negativity during his time at West ham also doesn't help. But ultimately his best days are behind him. He's on the outside looking in for any NT considerations

Hope old boy is at least getting paid properly!

I've always said the West Ham contract was a nice pay day for a guy at the end of his career.

Gruda with MOTM performance . Goal and assist in his 2nd BL match with Leipzig. I knew it was the right move for him. Now hopefully he gets call from Nagelsmann in March to cap tie him. Also Finkgrafe and Heinrichs both started for leipzig who looks like a german team now with many germans playing.
