What I personally would like to see.

    Forward: Woltemade, Kleindienst
    Attacking Midfielder: Havertz, Wirtz
Winger: Musiala, Sané, Adeyemi, Karl, Gnabry
Central Midfielder: Nmecha, Ouédraogo, Stiller, Brandt
    Defensive Midfielder: Pavlović, Bischof
    Right back: Kimmich, Baku
    Center-back: Schlotterbeck, Tah, Rüdiger, Thiaw
    Left back: Raum, Mittelstädt
    Goalkeeper: ter Stegen, Nübel, Baumann

    Starting XI:
    ----------------Woltemade-----------------
    Wirtz-----------Havertz-----------Musiala
    ------------Nmecha---Pavlović-----------
    Raum---Schlotterbeck---Tah---Kimmich
    -----------------ter Stegen------------------

    Supersubs: Adeyemi, Bischof, Kleindienst

I agree on all except brown should replace Mittelstädt as lb. Brandt is not consistent so I prefer we add a 3rd striker that has different style like one of Burkardt , Beier , or Schade depending on their form.
However, the starting 11 looks like the best for me.

I like the Starting Eleven. If being picky, Stiller could start ahead of Nmecha. Even though, Nmecha brings alot to the Party. Specially his Physical presence. But knowing Nagelsmann, Goretzka is a shoe in. Lol.

    LOL

Lahm perfect RB wanted to play M even though he was SHIT there is propping up Kimmich at M even though he's perfect at RB and SHIT at M like he was.

one thing to take away from this is that he admits that he sees Kimmich at CM NOT DM.

this is just shows why CM Goretzka and CM Kimmich never worked as neither plays like a DM and would even argue they don't even play fully CM. They advance way way too much almost like a hybrid 8/10 players. Which then leaves entire D exposed, LULZ.

Kimmich is absolute garbage in midfield and everyone knows it!

I'm really disappointed by Lahm's comments.

Yep. Kimmich needs to stay away from the midfield. Ideally, do does Goretzka.

Kimmich is clearly much better at RB and I would probably go with Pavlovic and Nmecha right now, think they bring a good balance. Stiller, Bischof and Ouedraogo should be in contention too, not sure Goretzka does enough to justify starting anymore.

Florian Neuhaus has made a 180 turn since start of the season. After his scandal during summer break and his lackluster mindset the last 2-3 years, he may be finally got matured during the incident. He has rising form every weak and is, on paper, the complete package for the midfield. tacklings, pass play, goal threat. He also has a good history with the NT.

The problem is the bad form of gladbach this year which is not helping the german players . For me Reitz is the one to watch in gladbach with Ullrich as lb if he continues his progress. They should be much better when Kleindienst gets fit soon.

    yeahhh thats pretty much it...

as you guys said about Lahm idea with Kimmich as Box to Box Player (8) , is slighly intresting as that would take Goretska out for sure
Pavlovic, Tah and Schlottie - all big - building the defence triangle,
Baku Kimmich and Raum bring the ball up from Defence and distributing the ball to Woltemade, Havertz Wirtz and Musila - who all can interchange - as well as Havertz and Woltemade , both tall , can interchange dropping back and going forward.

The game plan sounds good.... but would still prefer Kimmich as RB.

So who would then repalce Kimmich as 8 ?
    Nmecha, Goretska, Stiller, Bischoff??

Germany has not played with their best team in over a year …. If all injured players are back it will be super interesting .

I see lots of us do believe that havertz should be playing so will be super interesting to see if we play the front 4 with Woltemade, Havertz , Musiala and Wirtz . Absolute magic ??? Mhhhh I really hope so

But at least when he inverts from RB we still have someone else covering the #6 position.

    Yes.

I think that is the main point here. Germany's problems really were at 6, and the double pivot combo.

If Pavlovich is at 6, Goretzka or even Kimmich may be fine at 8

The same thing happens for England with Declan Rice. He's such a monster of a player, he can play 8 or hold midfield, but he actually does not have all the skills a 6 should have on the ball - so England suddenly look much better now that Tuchel picked Anderson at 6

But there's better Options than Goretzka and Kimmich for CM spot. Kimmich is fine at RB, and Goretzka in a ideal world benched.

Come World Cup , Sane , Gnabry and Goretska - hopefully others will be back and in form - starting 11 hope not as it’s proved over years they could not pull it off - so I wonder if all three will make the team and if so if they will be happy to sit on the bench …. Where they should be ….
